[Product]  Level Chips

Since its on the topic, a video of us covering it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpQxAzqytXY
Good to see it talked about in English, nice!

So some things from the video that I felt stood out to me, amongst the info we already knew:
  • Can remove Level Chip with fingers, without needing disc to assist.
  • We already knew it improved tightness, but there are some examples in the video.
  • It may possibly not benefit all Cho-Z layers or combinations.

But I think all the Beyblades used were stock, so take from those results what you will.

My guess is it's possible that maybe there's going to be custom LC for certain beys in the future?? either that or tighter versions of it.

and thanks!

Yes, that was something to think about that I forgot to note in my previous post--if there might be different kinds in the future. That's an interesting thought.

I think many of us are just hoping we see something about them being released outside of tournaments though, haha.

August of last year was when the Metal God Chips came out, so maybe if a similar pattern occurs, we'll have a different kind of Level Chip by then...if not at least having them freely available in some fashion. But I guess only time will tell if they do something like that.

And the Level Chip has been banned from WBO play! So bladers worrying about people having an advantage in tournaments may worry no more.

I've used Wedge driver to increase wobbling probability rather than Atomic which reduces it.

But wouldn't wedge just cause the bey to wobble even if it was balanced?

If you launch gK (or any beyblade which isn't Super Z) without Disc, it rotates smoothly on Wedge. In the beginning, I didn't count wobbling when speed goes down.
Even sR layer, which has similar weight to eF, rotates smoothly without hopping.

In general, any driver can be used ... Orbit, whatever ... Only driver I've noticed not to have wobbling problems with eF is Quake lol
RIP Level Chip. Glad i didnt drop 200 on one with a forneus layer lol. almost did.

Wait, did you receive it or you just ordered it?
I'm just waiting for mine to ship. I'm thinking about buying a scale so we can actually get a weight on the thing.

What would be the best way to measure it? Any old ruler, or is there something that works more nicely?
I have been wondering if they're made of plastic or metal?

Plastic, at least for now.

it works well

Thanks! I ordered that and a scale like the one you have.

Not sure if I'll do a video or just snap some photos. My phones are pretty dated with their cameras (8MP), but something is better than nothing I suppose. Get some good sunlight or some sunlight bulbs and it could be decent.
If you has 3D printer, lets DIY level chip for fun. Level chips is unbelievable higher prices in Japanese auction, kids cannot get level chips if there has no official tournament.

My daughter and school friends cannot get chip, because we has no official tournament in near of our area, and takaratomy shut out new event organizer store registration from 3years ago. Because, I make 3D printed chips for kids. This is unofficial and unavailable in official tournament, but we has no problem. Kids keep enjoying Beyblade without official event during in this 2years.

DiY for ya'll

Cool! Looks like I'll have some numbers to compare against once mine comes.

Mine will be the gold one, so that may also be a good check for if they have differences like the God Chips do.

You could've cancelled the order but I'm pretty sure its too late now. Plus I think it can still be used maybe for aesthetic purposes

BBG vid for the level chips!

They used a file that apparently doesn't have the exact measurements. I'm trying the file that was posted earlier and I'll see how that turns out. Will keep everyone posted.
Printed 2 using the file posted above. Unfortunatley i think while it may be exact, it is meant to have some flexibility to them. Maybe made out of a flexible material like nylon. The library here only has PLA filament, and when i was trying to attach the first one it cracked. So im going to look at what i can do to keep the 2nd from cracking. Overall though, i can tell a huge difference, regardless of the crack.

Do you think using ABS would help? That’s what I used for mine. Now i’m just waiting for them to come in.

Maybe, my 2nd one didnt crack, but I have noticed that they are causing the blade to stick to my launcher. It may just need some sanding. Ill be doing more testing today.
