Those look amazing that big one in the top left looks like it would smash any plastic into bits. Those Launchers look like the basic launcher got an upgrade. Honestly I almost hope they don't go both ways so we can go right back to basics here, but with metal. I know it's kind of stupid, but it would be more pure to me.
METAL FIGHT BEYBLADE! AUGUST 9 NEW SERIES RELEASE
I just hope the new shooters are more reliable than dual shooters.
No, I get what you're saying. Although technically speaking allowing you to switch spin on will was a good thing, in actuality it removed a lot of the prepartory strategization from the game.
Part of a good strategy game is making compromises ... to get one thing, you must give up another. Being able to switch spin directions at will took away from that, and turned preparation into constant stalling matches, neither player wanting to pick their direction first.
I would be happy if they brought back fixed spin directions.

hey dude that is a good stock, i can carp zoom in n'carp.
from what I see, I have a few questions.
NO where is there a reference to size, so I'm wondering how big these blades are?
But diggin out an old school winder and comparing it to a plastic bey, and assuming that that photo was taken as it appears (and the ring is same as old), They should be about equal with plastic beys..!!sick. Which will be sweet as hell.
Also seeing as the shooters are sold seperate, it think they will probably be higher quality than any other shooter we've used, ie. perhaps bearing/rollers to reduce wearing. Also I hope they are geared faster so in general beys have more energy than even HMS.
Second. Brad seeing as that is a scan of a paper, can or has your 'source' translate(d) the text around it??!
hahaha speculation at it finest. fun though.

First off, I sincerely doubt they will be as big as old plastics. I'm betting HMS size, max. I could be wrong.
Also, the shooters aren't exclusively sold separately ... you can buy both starters and boosters.

It's just the press release we read on ANN.

And ghosts.

Let's please not bring nationalism into this.
Anyways, back on topic, Brad's 100% right, charging admission wouldn't end up well eventually. Even something like how often every Saturday morning many Toys 'R' Us stores held basically Yu-Gi-Oh! socializing events. Beyblade did have Toys 'R' Us events but not on a large enough extent..
Just curious, did modding ever exist for American tournements?

Nope.
These look really cool, will be nice to see people playing again.
Yeah it will. If they do have tournaments for these new blades, what kind of rules do you think there will be? Since they're full metal and all and also there are older Bladers that are 16+ so do you think they'll raise the age limit for tournaments? I hope so. I fall into the category of 16+ myself as I would imagine most people do here on BeyWiki. I'm still an avid fan so news of the upcoming blades is good.
Hey when someone gets one of these blades could you put it against a plastic one and film the match so we can see the plastic one get smashed to pieces, I would love to see that
I'll do it against Draciel V.

I dunno his first beyblade was pretty carp awesome Toto. and would someone Meme Beyblading Jesus?
Max always did really well with really awful Beyblades.
so these r basically brand new?
i never thought this would happen
i never thought this would happen
Yes, they are completely new.
Even I can tell that they are new blades and I don't even remember half of them, then again I haven't see most of beyblades in real life just from the anime but I will get there.

Why have an age limit at all? Most TCG tournaments don't. At the most, have two divisions.
Kinda makes me wonder if B-Daman's gonna come back next =3, man, that was short lived...

No.
I don't think anyone wants to see that pile of carp come back.

short lived for a reason

No. If it did, I still wouldn't want to play it (ironic seeing how there was Celestial Trigger? lmfao). However, they did have some nice concepts and fun gimmicks (for a marble game lol).
I liked the Hades line the most however. I'm still trying to sell all of my parts.

I would not want age limit on tournaments. At least, have divisions for a range of ages (12 and under, 13-18, and 19+?).

I probably won't play with this generation of Beyblades seeing as how I have no one to play with, but I'll probably buy the ones with the best-looking parts and just do some aesthetic-based customs for showcasing.
