Hey everyone! This will be the first of 3 summer tournaments that Leone19 and I are hosting, but unlike our previous events, this one will be a little different.
In the first tournament on June 28th, we'll be using a brand new stadium to CT: the BB-46!

Date: June 28th: registration starts at 9am, the tournament should run from 9:30am-12pm
Venue: The Berlin Community Center - 234 Kensington Rd, Berlin, CT 06037
Format: Standard in the BB-46 & BB-10. Each round will alternate between the balance side of the BB-46 and the BB-10, so players will need to adjust their combos accordingly.
Prizes: In order to encourage players to participate in all 3 tournaments, we won't be giving out prizes until the third tournament at the end of June. However, players' wins will carry on from each tournament. The 3 players with the highest accumulated points from the series will get the prizes on July 26th, and trust me, these Beyblades will be worth the wait Wink

The community center closes around 12pm, but if the weather outdoors permits, we may follow up with an illegal parts tournament followed by a limited tournament in the same style.

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions

All players in this event must meet the age restrictions on Beyblade products in their region. TAKARA-TOMY recommends Beyblade for ages 6+. Hasbro recommends Beyblade for ages 8+. Players under these ages may only participate with the permission of their parent/guardian.

Hi Guys - is this tournament still happening ?? If so, my dad and I will drive up; hope we can keep the confirms, get a few more and have an official tournament.
It's definitely still happening, & Leone19 & I have some family members that we can pull in if needed! The location is different from Naijalak's tournaments, so be sure to let your dad know that it'll be in Berlin Smile
We definitely would have more enough anyways with my friends coming, for sure.

Also, in general, I've noticed it happening and others and I haven't enjoyed it happening to us; please be courteous and do not look through other people's cases or Beyblade combos without permission from the owner, it's just rude. Poor sportsmanship is unappreciated. Thank you.
Good luck guys! My prediction is that Leone19, Charliebey and nohzone will place. If I'm right gimme all your beypoints.
Good luck to everybody tomorrow!
Alright, it's today! Grin

Again- notice the time difference please arrive before 9:25, as brackets will start being made. If you arrive after or after brackets have been made, you will not be allowed to play in the main tournament.

Good luck to everyone today.
Just finished the tournament! Because 7 or 8 confirmed players were unable to make it at the very last minute, we ultimately had 7 people show up (1 off from the minimum 8) & 4 of us (Leone19, Nohzone, Charliebey, & myself) stayed to play for fun. We had two tournaments: one in the Super Control & one in a variety of stadiums that the players chose, including the Destroyer Dome, Max Stampede Stadium, BB-46 (both Defense & Balance), & the Super Control.
Placers were:
Super Control Stadium
1st - The Supreme One
2nd - Leone19
3rd - Nohzone

Choose Your Own Stadium
1st - Leone19
2nd - The Supreme One
3rd - Charliebey

At the very least, we got to do plenty of tournament-style testing in the Super Control and took videos that I plan to post later today. Leone19 & I may propose lowering the participant limit to 6 or 7 players, considering the lack of Beyblade activity these days and the fact that, often times, even if we start off with 8, schedules tend to change.
Aw man, it sucks you guys weren't able to have 8 Unhappy

It seems like you guys at least had fun right? Congratulations to the placers haha.
Eh, who canceled at the last minute ?

Just PM'd you because we don't want to publicly call them out. The date was just bad for many of our usuals, unfortunately.
How did the Destroyer Dome battles turn out? LOL
They actually were really awesome. I took videos for them & I'll probably compile it into one big youtube video. It was my first time using the dome & I found that MB worked really well, but CF & GCF were awesome to watch spin around.
Despite the low turnout, it was a very fun time. All of the players were competitive (4D, Synchrom, etc.). If this did anything for the WBO, it did show tests of the Super Control for tournament use.
Here's a video of the tournament for anyone wondering how our unofficial event went:
Let's just say the Destroyer Dome is pretty awesome when you aren't using it alone.
Yeah, today was really fun, honestly. Despite the turnout, we got videos and tournament results for the Super Control and got to play in some stadiums that will never see legalization.

Everyone needs to change their user title to LegalizetheDome2014, haha.
Even though we had an extremely turnout, the tournament was extremely fun. I really want to use the remote control stadiums for legal use. Its not that much different than a BB-10 and also is sort of spices things up for competition. Also, its cheaper than a BB-10.
I'm kinda pissed that we missed it Unhappy
