General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

I've been seeing this at local stores as well - Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and Meijer all have BeyRaiderz/BeyWarriors on clearance.

But I still wouldn't buy them unless they paid me to take them, I have enough junk at home already XD

Though their Zero-G stock is awesome. There's no lack of new releases, but they still have tons of earlier stuff too.

I've noticed at my local TRU, no actual Beyblades (aside from stadiums) have been there/stocked since around the end of April... they've only had Warriors and Raiderz, all full price, except for the Warriors BeyLocker Case and the Octagon Set. Haven't seen the manager, so I wasn't able to ask what was going on.

Anyone else have TRU's like this?

Around April my friend(Exotics King) asked his local TRU if they would be getting anymore shogun steel beyblades in and they said that they won't and that was their last shipment. My TRU's have been like this for a couple of months now. 2 days ago i went to check 3 TRU's to check for beyblades they only Had Beywheelz(for like 3 dollars) Beywheelz Stadiums(for like 3 dollars) Beywarriors and Beyraiderz only no beyblades at all. I think they are preparing for Beyblade Legends. My local Kmart still has Shogun Steel beys. Only wave 1 and 2 though no wave 3 left. In Kmart there were also like 2 dollar Beywheelz and like discounted Beyraiderz.
Just wondering, did we ever find out what Legends was supposed to be, or whether it was even confirmed to be released?

Considering that the stores are for the most part out of normal Beyblades, and one of them said that it was the last shipment and they weren't expecting anymore, I'm starting to think that Legends won't actually be a thing. Maybe they'll just do the Beyblade Shop instead?
It is just weird because the Beyblades Legends thing was definitely planned if the Hasbro representative at the New York Toy Fair mentioned it to everyone, plus there are no actual Bakuten Shoot Beyblade items on the Beyblade Shop besides some T-shirts right now ...
The only thing I'd think is they'd be waiting for their stock to decrease so they have more shelf-space for Legends, when it is released.

It just feels odd that the only store with this issue is Toys R Us, really. I just sent TRU and email regarding this issue.
Well, hopefully Beyblade Legends will be intrpduced in all stores rehyping beyblade as I just emptied my local TRU as they had a flame byxis, flame serpent and galaxy pegasis for 3 quid apiece.
Beyblade Legends.
Didn't even know about that.
What...it's been 4 years since Metal Fusion??

Oh, by the way, I think the release was supposed to be in "fall 2014", which is usually June, but as long as the actual autumn 2014 has not passed, we should still expect it, it is not too late or anything.
I haven't really been keeping up with Beyblade Legends, but it sounds pretty unspecific as to what is going to be released. Will it be Beyblades from each system, or just Beyblades from each series of Metal Fight? I'm guessing each system, which would be awesome because I've wanted to get my hands on some HMS & plastics, but most of them are pretty expensive.
They would make so much money if they sold newly made plastics and HMS..

Yes and no, because the whole new generation has no idea about them and they do not appeal to them ...
A part of that could be they don't know about them whatsoever.

I don't have my hopes up for re-releases of the original series, I'm just guessing when I say I'm sure the molds were destroyed and probably reused in other products.

Actually, a ton of my friends say plastics are more fun, and dynamic.
MFB just can't give that insane smash from Plastic gen.

They could be marketed as new products?
But in general, ask a younger beyblade fan about plastics and they'll probably be like "you mean XTS?"

It would be amazing if plastics were remade though.
With Nelvana selling those shirts from the original series again, it wouldn't be that surprising for Hasbro to remake the old beys, and they do say "best of the Beyblade brand (no specification of the MFB series), but it would be weird nonetheless.

Or Beyraiderz =_=
I swear, at least Beywheelz kinda made SENSE. You couldn't battle, but it was semi fun.
BeyRaiderz is the nail on Hasbro's coffin.

I'm just concerned there have been no leaked images whatsoever, unlike previous series.

It could be delayed if anything, but we should get something soon; hopefully. It wouldn't make sense for the BeybladeShop to open now, if there are no future releases whatsoever.

I agree. I actually really enjoyed Beywheelz because my friend and I could go and race them anywhere. Up slides, through a forest, it was a lot of fun. Plus I thought the anime wasn't that bad. Beyraiderz though...they never return directly to you, they wobble a ton and go off-course, the battles aren't really battles, and the anime was pretty bad.
Beywheelz was mediocre at best, although I despise the fact they still call them 'beys' (I guess it would make it that kids will know its related to Beyblade)but at least they do feel a little like tops...just on its side so its OK I guess. Beyraiderz went in the wrong direction however...whilst they do look nice they should be a new concept all by itself, not a part of the Beyblade franchise. I'm sorry but Beyraiderz don't feel like it belongs here, they're cool but also the odd one out. The Beyraiderz anime wasn't fun to watch either, the battles are generic and are so repetitive and there aren't many characters so...yeah.
Like; why COLLECT disks.
There's nothing beyblade battle like at ALL.

Yeah I know they were trying to make it successful...but they could at least try to make it like Beyblade (Beyraiderz having wheels DO NOT COUNT). At least Beywheelz and Beywarriors felt a little like Beyblade. Hasbro might as well make a concept for Beyblade about: Flying helicoptors that battle and just call it 'Beycoptors' yeah...doesn't that sound great? It would probably sound silly wouldn't it? And no...it's not different to the idea of Beyraiderz (in terms of how unrelated it is)
Actually, a game of r/c helicopters that try to knock each other out of the sky would
be awesome, like different attachments to hit with and different style foam missiles to launch....
