Who needs to crack a cold one open when you can Burst one open instead? Wink

Time:
The tournament itself will start at 12:00pm, so as a guide, aim to arrive for 11:30am. The Tube and public transport services are not very reliable, so plan your journey well in advance.

Location:
Regent's Park. We shall be at the Bandstand as always. Please check this thread on the day for updates or like us on Facebook for any quick location updates.

Directions:
Here is a map of Regent's Park. Click on the tab labelled "Monuments, Fountains and Statues". Head to the area marked Bandstand. We suggest taking the London Underground or Bus to Baker Street.

Prizes:
What are prizes? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hosts and Judges:
This tournament is being hosted by ~Mana~. If you have any queries about the event, feel free to PM me or post in the thread and I'll be happy to help!

Important Advice:
Despite being around friends and rivals, please remember we are in a public park. Bad behaviour and swearing will not be tolerated and will result in a ban from future events. Please keep your personal belongings with you or in a safe place while at the bandstand. If you see any personal items left around with no apparent owner, please hand it in to a judge, so we can return it to its rightful owner. Your cooperation is much appreciated.

Remember to turn up on time. If you arrive later than 12:10pm, your place will be forfeit and you will not be able to participate. If you know you'll be late, please let us know via PM or a post in-thread!

Spread the Word!
Are you as excited about the festivities as we are?! If so, be sure to tell your friends about it! And if you haven't already, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook!

Poor my friend Poor
If it’s on a weekend I’m defo down for it. Will probably need to borrow again, PayPal being douchebags and holding my money from my sold items so can’t get any burst items or even items for a while. Screw them.
Well I don't have any new Beyblades so I probably won't do well but I can will try my best to win some matches!

Some players may be willing to lend parts if you ask nicely Smile
Maaan you have 1 excited little birthday boy (and me of course).... Can't wait to see the action. Thanks for hooking this up with the perfect timing.
Put me down as a maybe. My new Burst stuff hasn't arrived & it's a little short notice, but I'll try to make it down if I can get a cheap enough train ticket.

Edit: Yeah looks like a two way ticket is £73 so that's probably not going to happen.
Just a heads-up to anyone attending; I’ve just double-checked my train times to make sure I’m ready for tomorrow and it seems the train I normally catch (and all the others from where I live) have an extra two hour detour added to them. That’d mean I wouldn’t arrive at Paddington until 1pm, and I’d have to leave to get a 5pm train to even be able to get home.

Right now, it’s looking unlikely that I’ll be making it up to London for this event, despite being the host. I’ll be waking up at the normal time to double check that this is still the case (and continuing if not), but this is my somewhat advance notice that I might not even make it.

I’d expect the event will still go ahead as planned regardless. Between the people registered for the event, there are very capable organisers and judges attending whom I have full trust to continue the event as planned, but I’ll have more of an update when I wake up in the morning on what is going on.

Sorry guys!

EDIT (4:32am) - Yep, listed as “emergency engineering work”. Let’s see if that disappears at all by morning...
WE HERE!!!. No one seems to be here though
We're sitting on a bench by the bandstand. Pretty sure you walked right by us.
