Host: The Supreme One

Location: This event will be held indoors at the Deep Run Recreation Center. When you enter the building, simply take a right and we will be in the last room on the left, The Springfield Room.

Time: As the tournament will begin no later than 12:00pm, please plan to arrive around 11:30am, when registration will begin.

Prizes:
Zet Achilles
Emperor Forneus
Screw Trident

Other Information:

Please come prepared. As we are anticipating a large turnout at this event, we request that all participants bring at least one Takara Tomy or Hasbro-manufactured Beyblade of their own and more than one launcher when possible. Additionally, parents of children under the age of 13 must be present for the duration of the event, as tournament end times can be difficult to estimate, and I would hate for someone to be left behind once it is over.

Be aware of your belongings. We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All players must arrive on-time. The tournament will begin no later than 12:00 PM and is expected to run for about 3 hours, though if there is a large turnout it may take longer. Please plan accordingly. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

6. Players Must Meet Regional Product Age Restrictions

Had a great time today! Thanks to everyone who came out and participated Smile We were able to speed through Burst with 60 participants in 3 1/2 hours and do a full round robin Zero-G tournament after! @[sparersquash] if you could give us your winning combos, that would be great! And @[phantomflame] if you used anything other than Reviser Dragooon S130 WD, please let me know Smile Hope to see you all this summer!
Results and fees have been sent in to the committee! Forgot to mention the winners of the two tournaments :)

Burst:
1st - sparersquash
2nd - The Supreme One
3rd - FlyingWaffle

Zero-G:
1st - Yami
2nd - Phantomflame
3rd - The Supreme One

Overall, the two tournaments were a big success. A huge thank you to Yami, who was an incredibly helpful judge (as always) for both events, and Mstubbs88 and WingZero for helping judge Burst. Lastly, we wouldn't have been able to run this 60 person tournament (in a room with a capacity of 24 nonetheless) without the help of AmishRaven, who brought his microphone and speakers to announce matches and a laptop to project the Challonge results, helping clear up some of the confusion over whether or not players' matches were coming up, if they had been eliminated, etc. Thanks for coming out all, and hope to see everyone at future events!

Our next event will be in June due to people having busy schedules in May. Keep an eye out for more information!

Hey @[The Supreme One], just posting this here so it's easier to find for everyone. It also gives an opportunity for tournament participants to review and see if any errors were made before it eventually gets processed. For future events, can you post the link to your results spreadsheets on the event pages like this? Thanks!
Hey @[The Supreme One], was just going through and awarding the Passports purchased at this event and couldn't find "Norman804". Do you know what his actual username is? Could you double check the other usernames on the spreadsheet and update any which are inaccurate?

Hey, thanks for checking! I had all attendees enter their usernames in themselves to ensure that there weren't any misspellings... I can double check to see if he posted in the thread but otherwise I'm not sure if there's a way to find that if it's inaccurate. I just went through and was unable to find an account for Sidd Slayer as well.

Edited: Makai10 is Makai11.
@[Kei] Update - Norman804 might be Norman508, as his account was created in March of 2018. Shall I go ahead and change the spreadsheet for now since that appears to be the closest match? Everyone else should be accounted for with the exception of Sidd Slayer.

Hey @[The Supreme One], yes please do! I've gone ahead and awarded the Passport to Norman508.

And "Sidd Slayer" appears to be "sidd slayer". Usernames are case sensitive, but if you type https://worldbeyblade.org/User- plus the username you want to find, sometimes it'll redirect to the proper one.

Could you update the spreadsheet to ensure all of the usernames are accurate? Thank you!

I've updated Norman's. Should be good to go, with the exception of FlyingWaffle who is marked on my spreadsheet as AerialSnack - the username he contacted you about changing to a couple months ago.

Thanks! I'll wait for him to confirm that as I just got back to him about it before making that update.
