I think they were decent for what the idea is.
They do kinda feel like toys, but there has obviously been a lot of testing behind them to make them so equal to each other (not counting ragnaruk, that designer/tester should be fired, haha). There is a lot of room for improvement, but that is a good thing. It makes me super excited about where this line is headed

Probably because they are...?
Thanks for that clarification bro...
Obviously the context is that they feel more like toys than their predecessors, which seems inarguably true. And all I'm saying is that some people will love that, and some people will hate it.
like every thing. some like, some hate hah!
I was just being facetious.

Anyway, yes they feel more like toys, but that is what they are, so I don't really mind.
I posted something stupid and wrong here
I dunno man. I have 7, including 2 accels, and all mine look exactly the same. Maybe it is just yours. That is an awesome driver if it is harder to burst. Treasure that thing
I think you're actually right and I had a temporary moment of insanity.
hah I can't wait until having my Burst Grin may be today or tomorrow! HURRY POSTMAN! hah!
mine are arrving some time next week or the week after. im gong crazy waiting for them
Well look at it this way. At least the teeth on your layers aren't already all worn like the first set of my layers are. That's a plus
hah you're probably right hah!
lol maybe it will be the first mold since i got i bought it two or three weeks ago, so im sure they would send the first mold, ( that is unless they didnt change the molds yet )

also i just realized something the layer for the burst beys is two plastics right? the translucent one and the colored character one. I had noticed that the colored ones are screwed into the translucent ones.....so my question is has any one tried unscrewing the colored ones and putting it on another bey's translucent part? like remove the red spirggan part and put it in ragnoroks translucent piece
They don't really fit in each others clear plastic and the screw holes are in different places. Cool idea though and definitely something to keep in mind for the future, in case there are two that you could switch with the screw holes in the right place.

I doubt that would work because the clear plastic parts of the Layers are different shapes and would probably be unable to accommodate the colored Plastic part of Layers other than their own. I don't see why there would be any issue with switching the colors between two identical layers to get the desired color/sticker setup (i.e. swapping the red plastic from B-02 Spriggan with the blue/green plastic from B-05 Spriggan).

Maybe Takara Tomy will unintentionally release a Burst Beyblade in the future that can do that, kind of like some of the unintentional illegal combos in MFB like Diablo Basalt.

ya i thought of that but there is still a chance thats why i said spriggan and ragnoruk, since the are similar, maybe some how my turing it or something it can work sorta like puttling those illegal combos. thats probt one of the first things ill try before putting stickers when my beys arrive.....please mail hurry Crying
I'd bet you could do some cool stuff by removing and painting the coloured parts, though.
ya you really could, maybe even painting the translucente parts too
Colouring the transparent plastic casing definitely gives great results :

Yeah, those are dyed Layers! I meant to share them here already, oops ...
Those are so sick. I want to try that sometime.

I second this.

This is really cool! Will probably buy a random booster and dye the wheel I get (except if it is that beautiful Valkryie, and will for sure dye the Spriggan which is white) Eee
