Fakes dont bother me. A bey is a bey. Just cause you cant use them in tournaments doesnt mean their always carp. Or dont deserve love. Me personally ill quite happily buy fakes. Because A- sometimes they look better than the original. And B- bedside i can own a bey they is very rare. Even if it is fake

Even if they don't preform that badly they are normally lower quality. I have heard there is concern about Lead in fake Beyblades. If they are mass produced fake Beyblades they aren't really rare.

Im sorry but can we please stop using the they have lead inside them excuse. I know you dont want people to buy fakes but lying to them about something like that is a poor excuse to convince someone not to. Firstly no one has proven that fakes contain lead, everyone throws that claim around but i have not seen any evidence to prove this is real especially when considering how many people must have used fake beys.
Secondly saying they are lower quality is a really vague term because unless you have had first hand experience in using these fakes you wouldnt say all fakes are bad. Ive used fakes personally myself and havnt had any break on me yet or show signs of inferior quality to my genuine beys and in some cases they perform even better than the genuine ones.
It doesnt mean anything to snankivell when he literally just said a bey is a bey and as long as he could use them as beyblades thats fine.
Im not gonna say go buy fakes/genuine its totally up to you, theirs pros and cons to whatever you choose. I know for a fact theres a lot of reasons why someone would rather buy fakes then buy genuine beys such as availability and price.

I didn't say there is Lead in them for certain I said I have heard there may be Lead in them.
Also I have actually owned fakes in the past and the plastic parts always cracked, shredded, or wore down quicker then my real ones.

If you check the seller's other products, they sell fakes and use images from other authentic/fake buyers. They've got almost no reviews too.

All of these signs easily can determine the legitimacy of a product, so make sure to look for these.

Thank you, I mostly search on computers, using a mobile device is harder to do stuff like pasting links, but anyway, thanks!

Yea alot of the time that is the case.
Fakes do have a lot of issues, like:

Inconsistent Performance: Different fakes will perform differently than the official Hasbro and TT products, and there's no way to balance for this. Most are weaker, some are stronger, and nobody wants to face a layer they know well just to find they're facing a fake that happened to improve and cover up its significant weaknesses or increased its power. This is the #1 reason why fakes will never be tournament legal.

Lead Hazard: These knockoffs tend to (but don't always) have lead, which is a harmful heavy metal that can cause significant health issues and even death in excessive quantities (Although it's not likely to kill you or give you significant side effects unless you bang them around excessively or try to modify them). The whole "is there lead in these things" debacle has been proven several times over through home lead testing kits on several fake brands (as seen in a comment on Reddit about Rapidity fakes here), so if it's fake lead in paint and metal parts become a valid concern to have, especially around children.

Inconsistent/Poor Quality: Most fakes are hastily made to imitate the actual products, and since they aren't made with the same care or the same materials often fail or wear down quickly. Usually this means cracks and dents, but I have seen fakes undergo catastrophic failures and shatter everywhere instead. I shouldn't need to say this, but a Beyblade layer shattering into fragments flying everywhere is not safe, and might cause damage to other parts or nearby v

Sure, you can get fakes all you please, and if they bring you some joy they've done their jobs well. Just be sure you know the risks before you actually use them and be prepared for things to go wrong.

China likes to use lead paint. It is very cheap for something brightly colored. But they have several lead issues in their country, really.

Something that is not "meant" (wink wink) for western audiences (with their anti-counterfeit stances) wouldn't have to live up to the standards of those western countries. So China's OK of lead paint and the like is likely to apply in these cases as well.
https://www.amazon.com/Beyblade-Burst-St...y+longinus My friend recommended this, Real? They got a zA.11.Xt from this seller apparently.

POLP is a new seller that has no feedback. That's the exact same way I got scammed on Amazon the one time I did.

I heard Samurai Shop is a legit seller, if you want to buy from someone on Amazon.

If the Z Achilles is a genuine Takara-Tomy, I would ask your friend to leave POLP there a rating saying so.

Z Achilles, But they're the same age as I am
This is great! Thank you.
Hi, I saw everyone arguing here about the quality of fakes, and I just wanted you guys to know this: not all fakes are horrible, some are actually pretty durable. But, some of them are extremely frail. I once had a "Fang Leone Burning Claw Version" and whenever I battled with it, I kept finding small, orangish-red pieces of metal in and around the stadium. Then, I realized that the pieces were coming from the Beyblade and I was able to actually take the whole metal wheel and break it apart with my hands- it was that weak.

I threw it away of course, and I realized that some fakes can actually be a little dangerous. Imagine if I disregarded the metal pieces and I kept battling with the Beyblade. If it flew out of the stadium during battle, and it hit someone while it was spinning, it could have potentially cut them.

POLP scammed my friend, they got a fake bL instead of a real one

Same. In the process of getting a refund. I even asked before I ordered if it was official TT and they said yes.
Can anyone check if this EBay seller is legit?

Everything looks safe.

Whatever price for gold-black Requiem looks unbelievable. Other items' prices are just low.

Edit:
I did never order from the seller.
Maybe will hit that Buy button now, so attractive  :D
I had a wV. It came in a god box and not in a cho-z box. BUT, I didn’t know the difference. So I used it and used it, then when I was fidgeting with volcanic, it broke in half. Then I lost wV. But I looked on amazon and saw... This bey is from a 3rd party seller. That explains the broken volcanic.
I went to my usual game night tonight, as I always do. Also like usual, I had a few beys on me. I swear, the things live in my pockets sometimes. Anyways, one of the women that came this time was new to the whole "game night" thing, since she usually had work things in the way, but this time she made it... and brought her children with her.

Naturally, the mother spotted me spinning my beys about, idling as my current game drew to a close. She called her children over to look at my "awesome beys" (her words, not mine), and boy did they come running, and with a Hasbro stadium too! Once my game finished, they told me that they would love to battle with me, and so I ran out to the car, grabbed a few of those cheap little Hasbro Switchstrike launchers, and ran on inside to fight.

Although most of the beys they had were Hasbro basic and dual layers with incredibly worn drivers, one of them had a Winning Valkyrie, which I know Hasbro hasn't released yet. Seeing this, I naturally challenged him with my own Winning Valkyrie 3 Yielding from the latest random booster, and he seemingly fell in love with it immediately. Quite frankly, I love that white and yellow scheme to it too, and I had been looking for a new Yielding for a while.

He did a lot better than I expected given how hard it is to control Volcanic and the small size of the stadium, although I'll admit that using such a tiny launcher often skipped teeth with my pulling strength and evened the field out a lot. He won with a whole lot of bursts and knockouts, taking me out pretty easily. Eventually the other boy wanted in, so he grabbed a bey and started up a series of 3-sided matches, with that classic Winning Valkyrie 12 Volcanic dominating everything in sight and even bursting my 3 Yielding setup so badly that the driver was about 40 feet away from the layer, the driver flying one way and the layer flying the other way and sliding under a couch. Eventually though it burst hardcore, and as I assembled things, I noticed that something was off with his layer.

First of all, it had standardized phillips-head screws holding it together, even though wV has no screws at all and is held on by the metal layer. Secondly, the tabs where level chips are held were flat out nonexistant, as though it was a non-Super-Z bey (although a level chip still fit on perfectly fine, albeit with no click). I took a closer look, and the font used for the "12" imprints was generic and undersized, and the Volcanic driver seemed to have more rotational resistance and move less in battle, and when launched on a flat surface would just stand and spin in place instead of tornado stalling like a real driver. No doubt about it, this was a fake.

I ended up telling him so he wouldn't be in the dark, and he ended up crying for a little while. It wasn't anything I ever intended to make him do, but eventually he decided he didn't want it anymore since it wasn't "real", despite another adult trying to convince him that it was fine because it still did battle perfectly fine. In the end, I offered him a trade: I would take the fake off of his hands and get him a real, legitimate TT wV. In the end, he really wanted my white and yellow wV instead, and so the trade was made: his fake stock wV for my white and yellow wV.3.Y.

With the trade completed we resumed play until eventually they had to go, but we agreed to fight again sometime should they be able to come again. I've gotta go find that white wV and order it solo because I just loved it so much to begin with and want a replacement, but in the end I'd say everything turned out pretty good, and I can't help but feel that this fake has earned me a friend.
