Also, such a cynical 1000th post for me :0

Ha Ha Ha! I recommend you to look at my profile! I have written some things that are really important to me!
- Most fakes are low at weight. I had a fake Rock Leone. My Lightning wheel is heavier than the whole bey.
Well I saw the track and all...and compared it with my Hasbro & TT parts...that bey was a fake..since there wasnt any code on it..as would have been if it had been original
There are some heavy Fake beys such as Sol Blaze and weight disks which weigh heavier than Basalt.

Fake or Real?
Is that the old Sonokong symbol?

I don't know if I must post this here, but its related to fakes. Where are the codes? It might help. If you mean code on the box, or launcher, then ignore... But, I would like to know if there are codes on parts too.

I really dont think that there are codes for individual parts....Just bcoz parts r nt sold separately...considering hasbro beys they r sold as a whole bey and they have codes which help us to identify whether a bey is really a fake 1 or not....
This is weird...
http://www.toyking.com.tw/merchandise/3/...377511.htm
It has TT, but it's in chinese, I have never seen this before.

Points- Could it be fake?
It's in chinese-
It has Beypoint Card Introduction-(Not supposed to, since outside Japan)
It says the chinese name first, then the english-(Usual TT say english first, then japanese in smaller text.)

Points- Could it be real?
It has Takara Tomy-
It has all the right logos and everything-

Hmmm....
iXus, I would think those are fake. Takara Tomy doesn't release beyblades with chinese characters. It does look very real but since it has chinese on it so I wouldn't get it. Even the Hong Kong release beyblades are in Japanese.

I would have to see the back, but it might be real without any problems. Mani Limited, from what I remember, releases official Beyblades with some changed characters to Chinese on the packages.
So TT,SonoKong,Hasbro and Mani Limited releases oFFICIAL BEYBLADES
(May. 10, 2011  5:27 AM)Aquilaz112 Wrote: [ -> ]So TT,SonoKong,Hasbro and Mani Limited releases oFFICIAL BEYBLADES

Mani Ltd is the official sole distributor base in Hongkong. It is very likely for the principal (Takara Tomy) to create special packaging for its distributors.

However, it would not be entirely correct saying that Mani Limited 'releases' official beyblades, since they do not produce them. They merely distribute them.

There are number/letter codes on beyblade parts. Usually, you can find them on the under side of parts. Here is an example of what I'm talking about, photos from Uwik's Sol thread:
The red/orange (whatever colour that is) metal ring, you can see the code A4 near the 2 that Uwik put on the image. On the black metal ring, you can see A3 next to the 2 that he has put on the image.

1)Dark bull
2)Storm Pegasis
3)Earth Eagle
Guys, thanks a lot for the help. I appreciate it. On the topic of Mani Limited, I think its a company like Funskool, which distributes beys produced by original brands, like TT, SK, Hasbro.

No. You're wrong. The packaging is the same, except no beypoint card introduction. In season 1, it was virtually identical. The only thing Mani Ltd does is put a little sticker on the back to comply with HK safety standards. Trust me. I think I would know better, living in HK and only buying Mani Ltd ones. I have a Flame Byxis from Mani Ltd, If you want a pic I'll show you.

EDIT: Nevermind. I'll show you now.

My Flame Byxis-

(WARNING: Large Pics.)
Pic 1: Notice- No Beypoint Card Introduction.
Pic 2: Self Explanatory. Mani Sticker, clear enough to see.
On another note: This (My OP) could be taiwanese, since the website says the location.. Hmm. But it still makes no sense, since Japan is the only place where Beypoint cards can be used, so why the introduction?
Ahh.. your picture explains Kai-V's comment on wanting to see the back part of the box. The picture from Toyking looks legit enough tho. Perhaps it's just a new batch of packaging? I understand your point of having the Beypoint card introduction outside of Japan, as it is not needed, but it could be as simple as being excessively informative?
I don't think so.. Otherwise we would see other packages like that. The BP card intro, would be on other bey boxes too, like in singapore, which it has not and I have never seen a single bey box that has a beypoint card intro for the entire toyline of season 2.
Yes, it does look legit, but my boxes are different- Perhaps Taiwan has different packaging, but since HK is a Chinese country the boxes should look like that- yet it isn't. The japan boxes are a mix of Japanese and Chinese.
I'm confused.. Perhaps Diamond has the answer? It is a mystery

EDIT: Kanji. Not Chinese. Thank you Kai-V.

Hah! How did he even think that someone will bid for that!
Fake Mercury Anubis
I was overwhelmed to see Anubis at such a low price! But, then I read the Item Description, and DANG! Its FAKE!
It is not impossible for another country, like Taiwan, to have Bey Ta Go machines. I know there is one, even though I am not certain it is necessarily Taiwan.

iXus Wrote:The japan boxes are a mix of Japanese and Chinese.
What do you mean ? They only have Japanese characters. Kanji is part of Japanese.
Ah. I see. Well I can read some of it (I don't know japanese) And it's very obvious to me what is and what's not chinese/japanese/korean. But yeah, I think I was talking about Kanji.

Hong Kong does have a Bey Ta 2 Machine. Rented, I think, since it disappeared after the one time I saw it.

But if it were to have the introduction, would that not mean it would have to be widely available? WBBA stores? The whole idea of the card is a redeeming system, and what kind of redeeming system only has 1-2 locations where you can redeem? Think about it,

Meanwhile, I will have to find some pictures of MFBE beys from Taiwan.

EDIT: Googling, plus looking at Leoshop (the place where I found questionable Flame Byxis) seems like that the Taiwan beys are the same as HK.. With the exception of the Mani Ltd sticker (Maybe) It's only Byxis which is in chinese.

This makes no sense. Why would some distributor/TT go to all the trouble to make new packaging for ONE bey?

Any newer bey (actually the only bey) was from Japan..

But apparently Season 1 had the chinese... For all of them, I think. Looks legit. 100%. I wouldn't say it's fake.

This is seriously giving me a headache.

Anybody got a smarter way?

I thought that the fact there is a box would be a dead giveaway of it being a fake.

Kai-V told me it's Kanji, Kanji is identical to chinese for the most part.
