Online, check for the Takara Tomy (top right)/Hasbro (bottom line) logo on the box. The actual listing/title should have the name Takara Tomy/Hasbro in it. If both or one of those things is true check that the sellers eBay feedback isn't private, if feedback is private it's fake.

At least you can get your money back if that was the case. I think check the description/title, but idk I've never bought beys from Amazon, eBay is as low as I'll go and I'd say Amazon is worse than eBay when it comes to TT beys. Also if it's like too cheap that should send red flags.

Skyliners2012? They're legit. High ratings, 2000+, plus I've ordered from them before.
I just got a bootleg from the ebay seller Toysgotw. Most of his products are cheap bootlegs so do not buy from him.
They are not fake like H and Rapidity, but they are unqualified products that were rejected by Takara Tomy and should be illegal for sale. Some merchants are now mixing them with the real authentic ones to scam you.
Does anybody mind if I make a picture comparison post comparing my real TT Beyblades to their fake counterparts along with my review of the fakes?
The Beyblades I would be directly comparing are Archer Hercules, Cho-Z Achilles, Dead Phoenix and Revive Phoenix.
I don't think it is, since it doesn't have a picture of the box, and from checking the company who makes this, under the name Takara Tomy, they typically sell fakes. Don't trust this seller, since I think Takara Tomy would have their company logo in the description of their business. If it was real, Takara Tomy would be spelled in all caps I believe, not like Takara Tomy. Bottomline, this is most likely a fake beyblade. If someone were to order this, it would probably take a while to arrive, since I don't think a fake of Diabolos could be made so quickly.

Both, apparently. It seems that the one which says "Rapidity" are fakes and the one which says "Takara Tomy" are branded/real ones.. No one knows if these sites are legit tho but nothing would go wrong if you try to buy these beyblades from the actual website (Takara Tomy) or even try Amazon.. Still don't think this site is legit cause of the fact that they sell the limited edition gold ver. of takara tomy's Galaxy Pegasus for only $16.99 which could be sold right now and made more than millions by any greedy customer. But hey, it could also be a fake which is why you gotta be aware of these sites and buy the products from the verified sites ONLY.

Kind of that. Those factories were suppose to throw away all the old molds and models after Takara stop offering them to produce beyblades. However, they did not do that, instead they keep using the molds to make beyblades illegally and selling them to the market secretly. Since most of those molds are old, it is common that the beys have low quality.
Kinda foolish on Takara-Tomy's part to not ensure that their old molds got removed/destroyed properly.

The sticker quality is terrible! but salvageable with a box cutter. You can also use red sharpie/silver metallic sharpie to fix any imperfections very nicely. Other than that, it's a really nice re-colour of an awesome Beyblade. No rubber on anything (but has metal) which is lame. Fakes are terrible and I never normally recommend them but when it's a nice re-colour like this, I'll look the other way.

That is a bey. But it is not "dark dragon". It is a different bey that is not owned by Drum. This beyblade is called venom diabolos. It also comes with an erase base.
