Oops, I am on my third DS
both of my other ones were originals. They seem to have a problem with the hinges connecting the two screens breaking. I have a DS Lite now an look forward to the game.

So this topic needs bringing back cause SS and HG will be out soon. Everyone still as excited as they were before? I'm completely and utterly, way too excited lol. Plus, Arceus event soon, and then Pikachu-Coloured Pichu event starts tomorrow, can't wait to eventually get a Notch-Eared Pichu! >w< Ahaha, literally cannot put into words my excitement for it all. : )

Above all else though, it'll be great for the nostalgia factor.
Shame that you can't customize your room anymore though, that was a brilliant feature

I contemplated pre-ordering this since it came with the figure. Prolly just end up picking it during the weekend of release.

That case makes it a lot more worthwhile. This release will help breath in much more life into the competitive scene; much more than Platinum. Two major releases with the span of a year really keeps the metagame fresh.

Arceus does a event where you get a egg with Diaga, Plakia or giantina Lv1.
Jirachi when you transfer to the pokewalker you get a new corse! Edge of the night sky!

i hope no one cheats on this game, i really "generally dislike" cheaters
Urgh, people are going to cheat in any and every game, especially games of this nature that require some type of effort to get every Pokemon. This is not the basis of a discussion, it is a fact, people will cheat, people will use R4's, people will use cheat cartridges.
I ask anyone here if they ever found MISSINGNO, and in turn got infinite of whatever their 5th item was, rare candies, master balls, what ever, because here's a newsflash, that was a CHEAT.
Until they make games that can't have their code altered, we will always have cheaters.
The best thing you can do is avoid cheaters, mainly by looking at user ID's and stats, and stop moaning about something that can't be stopped.
To quote Kyle Reese in Terminator,
"It can't be bargained with.
It can't be reasoned with.
It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear.
And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead!"
It's like moaning about earthquakes when you're living on a fault line.
Stop it.
Heh, at least a new game means no AR codes for maybe, what, a month? Until then, we can almost always be sure that our opponents are not cheaters.
They are already out, fyi.
They might be in JP, but doesn't it take the AR dudes time to change the codes for the NA and PAL games?

lol Missingno messed up my Elite Four Records in Red.
I can't wait to get this game. I went with Chikorita in Gold, but I may go with Cyndaquil in HG. I definitely want to use T-tar, since I've never used him in in-game play, but I don't think you can get it until deeper in the game.
I want Tryaitar or it's Pre forms early! I guess i just need to check a japan playthough .... (with a english commetey!)
