Haha, I see what you did there.. or am I wrong? O.o
You took the original picture and re-sized it smaller and placed it on the empty paper you cleared up.

Text should be smaller and blending - it is distracting from the focal. I like the motion effect. Good blending with the BG. Overall, it's good - a decent piece.

Man, I really like your style, but, maybe a little to much naruto renders.(As the character himself.)

Hey I never really looked in this thread because i had no idea making sigs and avis was called gfx... so ive been making sigs and avis since May or June i think, and right now i'm working on making a spinning animation sig. I use gimp. i'm thinking about maybe making a gfx shop. My latest work is in my sig

tried photo manipulation but this time related to wbo.

The text is distracting from the focal, lighting is supposed to be from above, depth needs work and compo is bad (don't put your focal in the middle.)

New tag; a sprite one, too. My first sprite one, and yes, I know it's not the best sprite, but I wanted to use this one. No text.

Inspired-? Lol. Anyways, the Effects itself look ok...but I do not like how it is too bright and noised. And like you said, the sprite isnt really matching at all. A better sprite would have been better...LOL.

I would say perhaps work on a getting a font in there that fits a little more naturally and looks just as polished as everything else in the banner. As it is, you've got a nice looking banner with pretty cheap looking font. The bit of purple lighting on the bottom also clashes a bit with the overall tone of colors you've got going on. I think perhaps a purple to clear gradient with low opacity might work a little better.

P.s:Noodoo. I Am loving the lyrics taken from the song by Coldplay, The Scientist below your sig. :3 awesome.

Sprite tags are usually sharp and noisy. But, I understand the brightness. And, on the sprite, I really wanted to use Lucas I'll be making a Megaman ZX one soon, and that's a better sprite.

Yeah, Coldplay is the best (besides Paramore).

Another Sig:

Colors look almost render , there is / are no light source either. Try some orange soft brushing (color dodge / overlay ) for more lighting. Text font looks too simple plus it distracting imo. There aren't much going on the tag , try some mor bllending. Although composition is OK.
