How do you even wear it down. I've used Rage a lot and it isn;t that worn. I do have another DS that is less aggressive though.

My guess is something along the lines of launching on concrete. He was young, so that seems like a reasonable explanation. It was *way* beyond normal wear.

So big A2 Assault-Q+Kick showing, interesting. I do wonder if an how the format will react. Did the QD Tip Change which we still lack a clear ruling on see use?

Classic Format works very differently to most others, especially having only two left spin layers which are both pretty garbage so Drift is kinda pointless. Just has a few advantages in a format with lighter, smaller layers. Stability is less of a concern, it can almost catch the ridge on hit a little, and you can launch it crazy hard and never self KO. I wouldn't say I love it, but it's definitely a decent pick and probably better than drift. Even in standard, Just gets a lot of undeserved hate.

I think I was the only one to do so, pulling off +Kick twice throughout the tournament to use Guard-Q naked instead. This didn't pan out for me as well as I hoped, since I still lost to Jonathan and my own borrowed Dark Deathscyther layer, though I got a lot closer to winning without the armor tip by reducing destabilization potential.
