Dynamite F Perseus is quite the stamina combo, but it is vulnerable to attack if the opponent is good with their launch (mine got bursted in the group stage this way). I have a few counters myself beyond that too, it’s certainly not unbeatable. Lyriq played vanish giga Mdrift, and we talked about it later that he probably would’ve won if he’s put Over on his combo (DiamondBlader’s Dynamite F’s only loss was to that same Vanish Mdrift but with Over in the group stage)

As for Wave’ I couldn’t tell you. He never played it, so I don’t know if it was just a combo he liked or if there was a deeper reason for the choice. Our area is pretty new, so we’re not used to deck format and meta choices yet. 

Because so many folks were running DynaF bearing’ combos this tournament it was really easy to see how much part variation there was. DiamondBlader fought a mirror in which his bearing’ was *clearly* much much better, handily outspinning the mirror. Also, I think that Perseus core is essential to stabilizing Bearing’ against destabilization from opposing stamina combos. 

That said, our area is very new and we’re all still getting our sea legs here. I’m sure the next standard tournament will have all kinds of DynaF counters.

If a combo was only in the deck and never played, it should not be listed. So I am not sure the Wave’ combo should be listed based on the current winning combo posting guidelines. 

From the organizer’s guide:

“Combinations should only be listed if they were used to win a match in the First Stage, or won at least one battle within a match that the user won during the Final Stage. The latter must be indicated with “(Deck Match Type Finals Only)” beside the combination name when posted.”

Dynamite F Perseus Over Bearing’ 3, he swept through the whole tournament with this combo. Never had to play anything else. Super free spinning Bearing’ meant he won mirrors and edged out victories in combos meant to beat his.

This whole tournament made two things clear: You have to be prepared to beat Dynamite F here in the PNW, and that not all Bearing’ is created equal lol.

I think you'll be seeing the kerbeus core and fortress disc in winning combinations soon. People are also using the divine belial's core because its burst stopper is more effective.

Aside from those though, I don't think there has been anything to really take note of.

Zektor and everyone else there, great job on day one! I wish I could come but the commute is just a bit much for me😭
Nice to see everyone is trying out some new combos, and its also cool seeing wheel getting some more love since SuperKing/Sparking.

PS: Zektor, how was using bearing' on dynamite in comparison to using it on vanish or using zone'+Z? Any "bursts" of frustration?😂

The only New Part that is really meta from BU is the Kerbeus Core since it is basically a Right Spin Bahamut so I can see a lot of people putting it on stuff like Ultimate, Savior, or a lot of other Right Attackers that need a little extra Burst Resistance. We're getting a New Achilles but usually, Achilles isn't really meta but you never know. Dragon is probably just gonna be a Tempest 2 tbh so I can see a lot of people using it for Spamina. But BU really has had a Horrible Start and for Burst Ultimate, this is pretty disappointing, especially with the releases we have now. We'll just have to wait and see if BU will redeem itself then maybe more parts from there will become Meta.

Ok, I don't really understand Wave' on an attack combo. According to th1nk, people do use Savior/Ultimate on H/HH', and the Wave' tip on an attack combo was kinda interesting last time due to the user not having X'/Qc'. Maybe it somehow works for Guilty?
Otherwise, hmm...does D+F go very well with Br' specifically? Like its on here twice (though 1 is Devil, but they're close enough to be equal). Though I think its a good choice nonetheless as out of the LAD tips, it (I presume) has the best chance vs same-spin (unlike Dr, Hxt+' etc).
Oh, and is +Z Hasbro (Plastic) or TT (Metal).

JA Industries. has repeatedly thrown out Divine Belial2 Wheel Quick' +L to good effect. It's half meme, but it's still rather lethal.

Just not sure if he's placed high enough since trying it out to have it show.

How do you even wear it down. I've used Rage a lot and it isn;t that worn. I do have another DS that is less aggressive though.
