1. Ultimate has some attributes that make it work okay, if not really top-level-competitive on Hold', so it could be something like that. Not a fan of wave' for it personally tho, so that's for the user to explain.

2. The red/orange moment are amazing and this isn't the first time they've been in this thread. I used it as my only stamina type in my tournament and it won every match I used it (though I mostly played attack). It has very good same spin, and most importantly very very good stability, so it works well on a grinding layer like Dynamite+F+L. You can also net the odd KO with it, and it tends to be KOd less by opposing Stamina. The opposite spin with Over is very solid too. It trashes all of my bearing's but I imagine with the variation in parts like the one noted by whiskytango here, that could vary a little. Idk which moment is in use here, but that's a general guide to the part.

3. Ultimate on rubber smacks DynaF silly if used well, and Guilty does its usual thing. Other than that, dynaf has really strong opposite spin performance and lacks real same spin competition (well, there's L Gear on the same), but also has to deal with driver match ups vs other DynaF in same and Vanish in opposite. It's really good but not broken in any way. I'm kinda hoping gatling ends up being a little better in same, but not as good in opposite (and preferably not defensively better 😅)

3. Ultimate on rubber smacks DynaF silly if used well, and Guilty does its usual thing. Other than that, dynaf has really strong opposite spin performance and lacks real same spin competition (well, there's L Gear on the same), but also has to deal with driver match ups vs other DynaF in same and Vanish in opposite. It's really good but not broken in any way. I'm kinda hoping tempest ends up being a little better in same, but not as good in opposite (and preferably not defensively better 😅)

DiamondBlader 1st place:

Dynamite F Perseus Over Bearing’ 3, he swept through the whole tournament with this combo. Never had to play anything else. Super free spinning Bearing’ meant he won mirrors and edged out victories in combos meant to beat his.
For completion’s sake, he also had
Prominence Valkyrie 1 Giga HXt+’ (I forget the armor)
Ultimate Valkyrie 2 Nexus + S Wave’ (again I’ve forgotten the armor)

This whole tournament made two things clear: You have to be prepared to beat Dynamite F here in the PNW, and that not all Bearing’ is created equal lol.

1. What's Ultimate doing on Wave and not a attack combo?
2.Is Moment even good at anything? I rarely hear anything about it.
(Has anyone found a counter to Dynamite+F yet? I'm guessing Guilty)

Dynamite F Perseus is quite the stamina combo, but it is vulnerable to attack if the opponent is good with their launch (mine got bursted in the group stage this way). I have a few counters myself beyond that too, it’s certainly not unbeatable. Lyriq played vanish giga Mdrift, and we talked about it later that he probably would’ve won if he’s put Over on his combo (DiamondBlader’s Dynamite F’s only loss was to that same Vanish Mdrift but with Over in the group stage)

As for Wave’ I couldn’t tell you. He never played it, so I don’t know if it was just a combo he liked or if there was a deeper reason for the choice. Our area is pretty new, so we’re not used to deck format and meta choices yet. 

Because so many folks were running DynaF bearing’ combos this tournament it was really easy to see how much part variation there was. DiamondBlader fought a mirror in which his bearing’ was *clearly* much much better, handily outspinning the mirror. Also, I think that Perseus core is essential to stabilizing Bearing’ against destabilization from opposing stamina combos. 

That said, our area is very new and we’re all still getting our sea legs here. I’m sure the next standard tournament will have all kinds of DynaF counters.

If a combo was only in the deck and never played, it should not be listed. So I am not sure the Wave’ combo should be listed based on the current winning combo posting guidelines. 

From the organizer’s guide:

“Combinations should only be listed if they were used to win a match in the First Stage, or won at least one battle within a match that the user won during the Final Stage. The latter must be indicated with “(Deck Match Type Finals Only)” beside the combination name when posted.”
