Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events

What's the story behind this one?

Also guys, hosts should make an attempt to post all of the winning combinations for a particular tournament in one post instead of each player posting theirs individually. If the host does not collect a list at the tournament site, the winning players should PM their combos to the host ASAP afterwards so that a list can be compiled.

It's not as bad when everyone posts simultaneously, but when you don't the posts can get separated and it becomes difficult to see the complete picture without searching through the thread.

Since *Ginga* is away for the week, I'll go ahead and explain. In bb-10 it's a wicked destabilizer, but in Zero-G due to the way begirados lines up when synchromed with itself it offers some ridiculous attack power along with some of the destabilization it offers in standard (for example, this thing gets real close to osing Duo BGrin in Zero-G, but beats it consistently [by os] in standard)

1st place (Kei): MSF-M Girago Dragooon SA165 (Attack Mode) EWD, Balro Balro BD145MF, MSF-M Wyvang Wyvang BD145RSF, and MF-M Duo Cygnus W145EWD

2nd place (The Sponge): Bahamdia Dragooon R145RF, Bahamdia Dragooon BD145RF, and Girago Dragooon SA165EWD

3rd place (FreshClassik): MSF-M Genbull Dragooon F230CF, and Leviathan Dragooon SA165EWD

Congratulations to all the placers! Smile

Do you know why did your bro used R145 on Bahamdia Dragooon, he could have just stuck with BD145, what was he up against?
I'm pretty sure he used Bahamdia Dragooon R145RF most of the time. Maybe he wanted extra mobility? Not sure.

I don't know why he did so, though he seemed to do relatively well using it.

Anyways, I remember battling him yesterday with him using Bahamdia Dragoon R145RF, and my MSF-H Girago Girago BD145R2F. As a result, I ended up winning 3-2 that match, but in this case, BD145 on that combo wouldn't have been the best of choices on Sponge's combo, since MSF-H Girago Girago BD145R2F is a counter towards MSF-H/M Bahamdia Dragoon BD145RF, if I could recall.

By the way, LMAO, FreshClassik used a MSF-H on his Reviser Dragoon SA165EWD, from what I remember.

So I just talked to him and he said the only reason he used R145 was because he couldn't find his BD145 until later on so he just used R145 as a substitution I guess. He prefers using BD145 though, attack types are his forte haha.

@MidnightGFX, actually I built FreshClassik the combo as it was my parts and I put MSF-M on it, not MSF-H. Smile

He used that same combo at AN, if I could recall. I take it that it was because of both you and your brother not having the best BD145 condition wise, no?

It was throughout the finals where FreshClassik wanted to use my MSF-H on Reviser Dragoon SA165EWD against your brother (and lost), he did use it. I take it you're referring to battles before the three way tie, no? Smile
One thing I had forgotten to previously mention is that in A Timely Farewell we chose to play Zero-G without f230. However, if anyone had wanted to they would have of course been allowed to use it.

Sorry for the late reply, I forgot to check this thread, but yeah my brother used it because at the time we did not have a proper BD145, so he used R145.

And nope, I finalized FreshClassik's combo as I made it for him, he did use MSF-M. Smile

I just remember when you used a E230 destabilized against my Duo Cygnus SA165BWD to beat me. Do you remember that?
Ah no I never used e230 against you I think Tech used it on you.
Kai-V sent me here just to put my winning combo from 6-1-14 la tournament kraken/killerken dragoon B : D is my second place combo sorry for the intrusion.

It was an E230 destabilized that beat me. Tech didn't beat me, but I know someone used it to beat me.

Yuko Ray14- MF-H Omega Uranus 85R2F, MF-F Earth Hades 230MB, MF Libra GB145RSF

Basaltspam- Libra ED145WD, Earth Sagittario II 85WD, Earth Sagittario II T125RSF, Burn Cancer 85WD, MF-H Lightning, L-Drago 90RSF, Lightning L-Drago T125RSF

Cake- Earth Pegasus II ED145WD, Burn Cancer 90WD, MF-H Lightning L-Drago 90RB, Burn Cancer F230CS
How did that Lightning L-Drago 90 RB fare for you Cake?
It should be 85 doe

The reason I used RB instead of a usual Attack tip is because my RB is fairly aggro (or at least I can launch it aggressively) but it's more controllable than RF, and is less likely to self-KO. On heavier 4D/Synchroms the weight slows down the Beyblade a bunch and makes it easier to use, but LLD is so light compared to what I'm used to that I went with a less aggro tip.

I used it twice during a Round Robin to determine third place, and won both of my matches with it. If I had used it more often I would have done better overall, too.

BTW Burn Cancer F230CS got used only once and I lost with it, so it's not really all that great lol

I mostly spammed the two Stamina customs for the whole time XD

In my first round I went up against Omega LTAC with Earth, and won 3-1. What I did was, as I was launching, I intentionally yanked the launcher upwards as the Beyblade was coming off the launcher; this caused the Beyblade to remain in midair and not hit the Stadium for long enough (though I still launched from a legal height) that it avoided Omega's initial attacks and was able to stay in through gratuitous application of wall-saves. I think the one loss was from when I missed the stadium after I messed up my launch lol
Awww you used Burn F230CS :3 I might cry XD.

That LLD combo sounds very interesting, and I love the idea behind. My RB isn't aggro whatsoever though, haha. That with RSF sounds interesting though (which I just noticed BasaltSpam used).
Yeah, for whatever reason my RB is aggro and my RSF is super passive lol

For most people it would probably be switched around, RSF is probably better if it's more aggro for you.

Burn F230CS lost to Earth something 230MB, which I guess is kinda predictable, but I only have an orange Hasbro F230 and my CS is pretty aggressive, so it didn't work out for me.

I've noticed that in most of your tourneys your family and friends use atleast one of same combo... Why ?
I've noticed that as well, many of the placers use the same combinations and are related/"Ultimates".

I did ask before if they shared parts, but UltimateOrion insisted they did not. It was only one "shared" combination, though.

Not accusing anything/anyone. Tongue_out
Does it matter if they used the same combo? I'm thinking that since they're related, they see combos that are good and then they tend to uses them because they're good.

No biggie, it's happened before

As I said, wasn't trying to accuse anyone/anything about anyone, just wondering why they tend to use the same placing combos, if they perhaps share combinations at one point or something. Again, just wondering, really.

Never said it was a big deal, haha. Tongue_out

His friends too. It's like nobody else ever places.... Like Leone 19, I'm not accusing anybody.
