The WBO's longest running annual tournament returns once again, and for the first time, on HMS & Plastics Remembrance Day! Toronto Bladers, join us on Sunday, July 20th for not one, but two tournaments: HIGH PARK THROWDOWN 6 (Standard MFB Format) and HMS' NOT DEAD! 3!

Both tournaments will be occurring on the same day: HIGH PARK THROWDOWN 6 at 12PM at High Park, followed by HMS' NOT DEAD! 3 at 3PM at the same location. Feel free to attend both, or just one of the tournaments!

Entry Fee + Rewards
As always, to participate in the tournament you must purchase a Blader Passport, or alternatively, you can pay $5 for a single tournament. These tournaments will not be processed for BeyPoints, however, Credits, and Faces for placement will still be awarded. In addition to this, you will also gain +1 Extra Credit for participating in HMS' NOT DEAD 3!. That's 2 Credits just for participating! And of course, there will be additional benefits to participating in the HMS tournament that will be detailed soon in the HMS & Plastics Remembrance Day announcement thread. Wink

Also, the top three finishers in each tournament will have their choice of one of the following Face Boosters created exclusively for HMS Format and Plastics Format tournament winners!:

"But I don't have any HMS!"
HMS' NOT DEAD 3 is being played under the HMS Format, so I understand that some of you may be thinking right now, "But I don't have any HMS ...". Since I'm sure this may be a problem for some Bladers, I'm willing to lend out a few HMS Beyblades and Shooters + Winders to people who do not have any HMS. If you're in need of a Beyblade to participate in this tournament, let me know!

For those of you that do have multiple HMS, I would appreciate it if you could bring them to share with other Bladers who do not have any as well. Thanks!

Location
We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. This map has the area we'll be playing in roughly outlined:

Ah, you can confirm me for both events, as usual.

I'm real excited for both of these events, especially the HMS tournament! It'll be great experience just battling at an official event for fun, hoping to give other attendees wins, haha. Oh, and yes, I'd definitely be willing to lend out my judging assistance if really needed, of course. (:

Hopefully we'll get a relatively large amount of attendees!

Edit: It's funny how both logos have the same motif as last year, and probably even years before I was active, hah.
Possible for both, as always XD
i am possible, 80% chance of me comingWink hope to see ya all there fellowsTongue_out
Possible for both tournaments, please! I'm probably going to need to borrow an HMS Beyblade and a Shooter + Winder for ''HMS' NOT DEAD 3'', so if I could borrow one for the tournament, that would be very much appreciated! (Also, this is my third year coming to an HMS & Plastics Remembrance Day tournament, yay!)

I tend to revamp the HPT logo every couple years, so I'll probably do it again next year. It has maintained a somewhat similar font and colour scheme for all six iterations, though.

No problem!
Put me down for both!

Like Pyrus10000 I'm gonna need to borrow some beys/winder
Put me and The Sponge down for both, Hopefully I"ll be able to place 1st in HPT like I did last year haha.

Good luck to everyone and I'll have the kijiji ad up tomorrow! Smile
kei, it's not really not fair to place i each of those ternaments because many of us don't know really anything about HMS, so getting those faces should be if you place in at least one ternament, that's only fair:{

We can't show disfavor to a user just cause he's good....
That's like saying it's unfair I placed in both events in Year of the Bey. Someone could say it's unfair if they didn't know lots about Limited, yet I placed in both.

If one doesn't know about HMS, check out the BeyWiki- that's why we have it.
???????????? you guys don't know what i'm talking about, do you, okay, anyways, what i am saying is that, beginners in HMS, that know really nothing about it versing bladers that know HMS very well, and chances are, the bladers that know alot about HMS, will probably end up in the top 3, so you should place in atleast one ternament to get one of those faces.
Yo, do you think I know more about HMS than I do Metal Fight Beyblade ? And yet I placed third in HMS, just because I checked the latest top-tier list in the HMS competitive combos topic and was dedicated enough to have purchased great parts up until now.
well, ya true, but, of course you are going to know more about Metal Fight Beyblade then HMS. The reason why is because most of the bladers on this site don't take HMS seriously and well others don't but know tricks, good combos, and especially how we don't have any HMS blades, so we are not going to get the best one.
ULTIMATE BLAZE, I did terribly at our last HMS tournament in May. In fact, I didn't place in HMS' NOT DEAD! 2 either. Nothing is ever guaranteed. But regardless of that fact, what Leone19 and Kai-V are saying is true.
Guys, look.
HMS should be celebrated by those who love and have a passion for the system.
It's for the oldies.
ULTIMATE BLAZE, if you don't have the parts or you don't think you have a chance...then just don't enter.
Who even knows, a kid with a Driger MS stock could win magically.
There's no point in trying to ruin people's victories.
Please no more arguments.
It should not necessarily be for "oldies", otherwise basically all areas now have a problem of attendance by this new condition ...

But hey, finding a Wolborg MS for cheap is rather easy, as well as other good Beyblades, so this is just a matter of being able to order online of course, and not reacting at the last minute. HMS & Plastic Remembrance Day is a yearly thing that we try to hold always around the same date, like a barely mobile Christmas, so you can definitely plan ahead for the next one usually.

People don't see how cheap it is in actuality, because they think $100 for a NIB MSUV is absurd, but everyone knows that's a steal. Most kids have Gaia Dragoon, Draciel, and Driger, and to be honest, you can make a pretty decent combo from those parts.

Slightly off topic..
I'd love to come next year.
After all, I didn't spend $600 on HMS for nothing.
sorry guys, kai-v, neo, kei, leone19, you guys are right, and neo, i never wanted to ruin peoples victories, why in the heck would you say that? and i am just there for fun so ya
YAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!Joyful_3

I personally don't even know what you're replying/referring to right now, haha. I take it this would possibly mean you'd be able to come?

By the way, remember, if you don't end up making a turnout out this event, I'd need to pass on the Hell Horuseus to Suntailhawk.
HERES A HINT[spoiler] [spoiler] SCHOOLLL!!!!!!!!!!!

If it's about your excitement for school, then it doesn't belong in this topic, you should already know that ULTIMATE BLAZE! Wink
