The WBO's longest running annual tournament returns once again, and for the first time, on HMS & Plastics Remembrance Day! Toronto Bladers, join us on Sunday, July 20th for not one, but two tournaments: HIGH PARK THROWDOWN 6 (Standard MFB Format) and HMS' NOT DEAD! 3!

Both tournaments will be occurring on the same day: HIGH PARK THROWDOWN 6 at 12PM at High Park, followed by HMS' NOT DEAD! 3 at 3PM at the same location. Feel free to attend both, or just one of the tournaments!

Entry Fee + Rewards
As always, to participate in the tournament you must purchase a Blader Passport, or alternatively, you can pay $5 for a single tournament. These tournaments will not be processed for BeyPoints, however, Credits, and Faces for placement will still be awarded. In addition to this, you will also gain +1 Extra Credit for participating in HMS' NOT DEAD 3!. That's 2 Credits just for participating! And of course, there will be additional benefits to participating in the HMS tournament that will be detailed soon in the HMS & Plastics Remembrance Day announcement thread. Wink

Also, the top three finishers in each tournament will have their choice of one of the following Face Boosters created exclusively for HMS Format and Plastics Format tournament winners!:

"But I don't have any HMS!"
HMS' NOT DEAD 3 is being played under the HMS Format, so I understand that some of you may be thinking right now, "But I don't have any HMS ...". Since I'm sure this may be a problem for some Bladers, I'm willing to lend out a few HMS Beyblades and Shooters + Winders to people who do not have any HMS. If you're in need of a Beyblade to participate in this tournament, let me know!

For those of you that do have multiple HMS, I would appreciate it if you could bring them to share with other Bladers who do not have any as well. Thanks!

Location
We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. This map has the area we'll be playing in roughly outlined:

It's been a while since I've asked this, hah.

Anyways, do you have any NIB/P items for sale, Kei?
I'll stick around for HMS as well if someone will loan me a bey hehe
Good luck to everybody tomorrow!
Hey guys, I gotta leave by 3 for work, so I won't be staying for HMS tourney
Also, to all Toronto bladers, if there is any Beyblade you need to buy online from eBay, let me know, and you can give me the money and I should be able to get you the Beyblade by the next tournament after for the cheapest price possible Smile

Good luck to all tomorrow, I'll be there at about 11:30 Smile

Thanks, that was much appreciated, man. Wink

On a more serious note, it's around 5:00 in the morning right now, and I'm ready to go in a couple of hours. I think I literally just pulled an allnighter, as well, hah.

I'm really excited to see all the newer members come out today. Be sure to have fun, guys!

By the way, as I mentioned in a post of mines earlier on, Suntailhawk will be receiving the Hell Horuseus 85RS, as he was the winner of the draw I made the last event.

On top of that, I hope I'd be able to get some more opportunities to judge today, as well.

See you all soon!
Morning guys, I would be sleeping but unfortunately there are girls that like too talk to me too often (Massachusetts Girls :p) so here i am lol. I will come today but I still have my rolled ankle problem so it will be hard for me to walk not limping. See u all there and i'll be there around 11:30

Cool, glad to see you make this one. Hopefully your sprained ankle won't affect you too much. (:

Dude, you're such an showoff inspiration, lol.

Anyways, I just recently finished packing up, and should be heading out around 10:00, or so.

I'll be at the shelter where we regularly play at around 11:30, hoping for someone to be there, hah.

See you all soon!
YES ITS ONLY LIGHT SHOWERS TODAY!

Leaving in an hour or two, see ya'll there!
This sucks

I just got home and I'm feeling nauseous and dizzy

I also won't be able to get there in time

Im so sorry guys
Hey everyone! Here's the results:

HIGH PARK THROWDOWN 6
1st: JesseObre
2nd: pyrus10000
3rd: Mango (AKA The Sponge)
4th: Kei

Didn't turn out so well for me after going 5-0 in my block, but it was close, and I was happy to see JesseObre place first again; his first time in over a year, if you can believe it!

HMS' NOT DEAD! 3
1st: Kei
2nd: JesseObre
3rd: ~Midnight~
4th: pyrus10000

Was happy to rebound with this result after my horrendous performance at GRAND BATTLE PRELUDE: Heavy Metal System, but more importantly ... ~Midnight~ placed for the first time ever! Congratulations, ~Midnight~. You really deserve it.

Thanks to everyone who attended one or both of the tournaments today! Stay tuned for more information on our next tournament(s) in August, hosted by LMAO. It's going to be on August 10th, I believe.

Aww, well hopefully you can make it out to our next tournament in August.
OMG congrats for placing midnight!
Today's two tournaments were really amazing! Congratulations to JesseObre, Mango, Kei, and especially ~Midnight~ for placing for the first time ever!

I had pretty good scores in both tournaments (6-2 and 5-2), I placed second in the first tournament, and I got to use Cyber Unicorno at least once. Overall, today was an incredible day.

I sadly won't be able to make the tournament on August 10th, so don't even think about putting me on the confirmed list, LMAO. lol

(Also LMAO, you still have my MF.)
Yesssssssssssssssss!!!! Midnight finally placed! I've been waiting for this day since the Dawn of DJ!

Congratulations on getting your first placing Midnight! Smile
Congratulations to you too JesseOrbe on placing as well.

If you guys done HMS every tournament, Kei would always be first, hah.

Not really. I did terribly at our last HMS tournament!
Ew, I sucked today.

Yeah, I'll be hosting one on August 10th, and it'll probably be Zero-G and HMS or Plastics. I'll have a poll up.

pyrus10000, I don't care what you say man, you're confirmed as always! You always end up coming haha.
Congrats to Midnight for finally palcing! Deimos must have really helped him out, haha. And my skypeing probably helped. Smug loljk

Eh, well you made up for it this tournament, didn't you ?

LMAO, guess I never gave you enough luck!

Forgot to say congrats to the rest of the placers!
Hope it was really fun! Congrats to everyone who placed, and everyone who attended!

Good job Midnight on placing! It could've happened anywhere, but since you live in Toronto it happened a little later then usual.
I'M ON A ROLL, SECOND LAST TOURNEY AND THIRD TODAY!

Congrats to everyone that placed especially Midnight! Today was great! I only used two combos which surprised me! Happy to see new bladers and more people. Hope to see everyone next tournament!

Thanks you guys! I really didn't expect this to happen, as it was an HMS Format, a format I'm not competitive in whatsoever, haha. It was really exciting placing for the first time, though.

Anyways, I had a really fun day today: these two events are some I enjoyed most, among the 20 I've taken part in.

Throughout HPT6, I ended up going 3-2, which is an arguably good score, beating Mango, Suntailhawk, and Vidaljuventus, losing against Yoshikid, and JesseObre. I don't think I should be moving up too much, possibly only 4-5 ranks.

As for HMS' NOT DEAD 3, I ended up going 6-3, beating JesseObre, LMAO, Mango, Bramptonbladers, Vidaljuventus, and Yoshikid, losing against Pyrus10000, Kei, and JesseObre in our tie for both second and third.

As for Hb42, OldSchoolâ„¢, Vidaljuventus, and Bramptonbladers, thanks everyone for coming out today!: it wouldn't have been much of a success if you all weren't there. I'm hoping to see you four return for our next upcoming events. (:

Also, props to Pyrus10000 to doing absolutely amazing today! You should be moving up to the 100's once HPT6 is processed, bud. Wink

As for Jesse, congrats on finally placing first once more! It's been forever since I've seen that actually happen, haha. I'm sure all the so called rapping you did towards LMAO and I gave you confidence, lol.

Throughout the first couple of tournaments I've attended, I didn't really have the most competitive of parts back when I joined, and constantly kept on using extremely random variations, like Diablo_SP230WD, or a Killerken Pegasis E230WD, hah. It was the last few events this year, and the ones last year where I became semi-decent, or the blader I am today, lol.

I actually plan on hosting with him that date, so I'll discuss it further with him later on; really hope I can become an official organizer by the end of this year.

Because the rest of the world was there to be against you hahah.
JesseObre and ~Midnight~, I forgot that all three of us are also eligible for one of these Face Boosters:

Let me know which one you would like!
