High Park (map) - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
STANDARD (MFB/BMF) FORMAT

Toronto Bladers! The tradition continues! This July, for the fourth consecutive year, we will be hosting HIGH PARK THROWDOWN 4 at High Park!

Assuming we have enough attendees, this will be an official WBO tournament, so make sure to get your Blader Passport if you haven't done so already! Or, simply pay $5 if you plan on only attending HPT4. Aside from competing for Faces, BeyPoints, and Credits, the prizes will of course be good (I'll be importing some relatively new items Wink)!

If you're interested, please let us know here so we can start building an attendance list. Hope to see you there!

Location:
We'll be playing in the shelter where we usually play. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. This map has the area we'll be playing in roughly outlined:

Guys, just for future reference: how many of you would be OK with a tournament during the week (most likely a Friday)? Seeing as it is the summer, I figure most of you should have at least some free time not only during the weekend, but during the week too.

Is anyone going to be using Attack types, you mean? Probably!

i dont think it might work out. People have summer school, summer camp and have parents working on weekdays in my guess. So it wont have a outcome of a lot of people. But i can still come even if on a weekday
i am there sign me up
put me on mabye!!

Wouldn't work for me, my dad has work, and there's no one else who can take me.

I have Summer School at 3:00 on weekdays Uncertain (Except for the last 2 weeks of August) And my dad is working every weekday, so unless it's at Dufferin Grove, I wouldn't be able to go.
better switch me to definitely coming. got the time off work Grin

and as for weekday tourneys, that's a negatory for me. I usually work Monday to saturday
Hm, will you guys be doing any weekday tournaments soon? I can't attend weekends for sure.
I'm good for the friday before Kei, unless my (possible?) job comes into play.
Hahaha, Scott, why would you schedule a Beyblade tournament on your birthday?

Oh, wait. I know. It's 'cause you're a fanatic.

At any rate, I'm doing birthday stuff of my own, so sadly, I can't make it.

No doubt, we would definitely have less people than normal, but I'm just trying to determine if we could rally together at least eight people for a tournament.

I was thinking about doing at least one in August. Maybe the 10th. There will of course be more tournaments in between HPT4 and that one–if it were to happen–but that's the date I was thinking about.

I'm not free every single weekend (something that can probably be said for everyone), so I figured that because it was the summer, we should try to take advantage of the free time that people tend to have. Of course, this is a problem for some people due to the reasons Jesse listed, but for those of us who do have the time, and can actually take public transit ourselves, it would be great to have a tournament on a weekday.

For the past two years I've had to work on my birthday, so this isn't so bad in comparison. Tongue_out

Bahhh. You said you would come!

Put me on the possible list. I could easily fly to Canada in time!! Smile

I was wondering if you would ever come back!

Edit: I'm not going, good luck.
wow! 19 attendees right now (gonna be 20) I hope we can get 25+ like we use to
I'm pretty excited for this, as this is one of my first tournaments in a while.

Friday? I do not know if that would work out. My mom usually works on weekdays and my dad has no muffler, and needs an oil change. So please add me to the possible list. It is not impossible that i will come, but it is unlikely.

My dad's car has no muffler and needs an oil change sorry.
