Takara Tomy Beyblade Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread

Personally, I'm putting my faith in Marutti. He's been extremely accurate for a long time now, and it makes sense that it would take extra time for TT to turn a 2D bey submitted in a design contest into a working 3D product (and a 3D model for the anime!). Not to mention that assuming Valt isn't the protagonist of this new season, we very well might not see him in the anime until late spring/early summer anyways.

While it would normally make more sense for TT to release Valkyrie at the same time this year as previous releases, there are other factors to consider that make it much less likely. Sadly, no amount of arguing is going to change those factors, either. So for now, as always, all we can do is WAIT AND SEE.
I hope TT releases Valkyrie in wave 3 or 4 so that they have enough time to polish the design, give it a good gimmick, and a good combo. Remember, they probably had to look through several hundreds of Valkyrie designs and choose one. They might still be choosing one, who knows? Even if the base design is already made, they still have to redraw the concept into something that fits well with the gimmick and/or style of season 5, plus they have to find a clever way to integrate the gimmick that the contestant thought of. They also have to test the Bey in multiple occasions to make sure it works how they wanted it to work. So, if you want a repeat of Slash Valkyrie, hope for a March release, but I'm on the side of waiting a bit longer in order to get a product that Takara Tomy (and the original design contestant) can be proud of. Something that caught my eye is that all of the confirmed releases are either Boosters or individual Launchers, but I doubt that all of the Beys are going to have existing parts. The only thing that I can really try to predict for now is that the Kiyamas are both going to get new Ragnaruks, which would be the two prizes of RBV 20.

My guess is it'll be the march release since Valkyrie seems to come with every battle set and then single release afterwards though I won't mind if it's not the case this time.

Hasbro changed it up this time around even though Sword Valtryek V5 was still part of their HyperSphere Wave 1, so it's definitely possible for TT to do it as well since they work together for things.

True and like I said I won't mind if TT starts doing this. I'm just hoping we get a hint at the new layer soon.

Yeah, I prefer quality over rushing the product. I expect a teaser from Coro Coro in about a week from now, since that's when the March issue will start rolling out.
I think the white one is a prototype, the black one seems to be a limited edition and a combo of the two new beys, because Valkyrie always has 3 wings, and the last picture is mirrored and probably shows the blue Sol Valkyrie (that name is just my speculation). You can also see a red Bey at the top. I think it's the rival. It could be Zwei Bahamut, but it's probably not, because it because the image is mirrored.
OmG the hype is real those leaks design looks like a new valkyrie

Edit: i almost forgot to mention that silver bey is the sun motif and the white one is probably valkyrie

I don't wanna say it's fake or it isn't but I got to wonder where the picture originated from and got shared.

This new system seems to be quite interesting, but it looks like the discs should be making contact as well as the layers. New types of launchers as well. This'll be a fun season I bet.
I don't know how I really feel about the gimmicks and the designs look very underwhelming and bland
I'm just going to mention that the Black and Blue "chips" are mirrored from one another, and that there are 3 different "bases" with the blue seemingly being Left Spin.
Apparently, the black one and the white/gold one might be 1/72 recolors of the Entry Set Beys. (The person that originally posted the pictures says it might be the case).
Idk what to say about this....
I’m hyped, but also unimpressed... at the same time....
I was expecting the layers to be a lil more beefy...
The launcher on the other hand... amazing...

I was expecting some actual layer gimmicks... not just this layer-disk synergy. Now don’t get me wrong... dis is some real EpicSauce! But I was expecting these layers to at least be as thick as The Imperial base... and to have some form of gimmick... then again, these may be prototypes, if so, these are some SoupehSaucey prototypes...

This Sun Motif bey looks pretty coo too.
Humph, and I guess we’re gonna still have the detachable chips like GT... I don’t have nuffin against it, I just don’t know what they could have possibly added that makes these an upgrade to GT...

Also, I really hope that that’s just a concept and not the final design of Valkyrie...
Valkyrie doesn’t look right without his 3 Blades...
Why would they design a Neo-Original Valt Aoi, and give him a Neo-Nonoriginal Valkyrie?? It just doesn’t make sense at all...

Dis launcher doh... Dis Launcher Dohh!!!
That launcher has to be an upgrade not only in the aesthetics department, but also in the performance department as well!! I hope that is the case!

Exactly what I'm saying, I don't want them to expand on the GT system. It feels very underwhelming so I'm hoping these aren't official and are just prototypes
I'm personally happy that they're expanding upon GT with some more added features, while removing cross-compatibility, because it makes this system slightly more unique while potentially allowing for even more customization, which to me, is always a plus!
Guys, you know that white and gold ‘prototype bey’, maybe that is the holy knight version of the new Valkyrie, and the holy night valkyries have similar colors. Idk it’s just a random thought

And maybe the holy knight Valkyrie will come in the new battle set that they release every season

That would be such a great idea if Burst wasn't ending after this generation.

There’s nothing to expand upon after this generation though. I don’t feel Burst will ever really go away though. The bursting gimmick of beys I feel will stay and be implemented into future generations of Beyblade.

For as much as I enjoy Burst, I sincerely hope they don't. It would be a lot nicer to see something a bit newer and more refreshing after an entire generation of bursting beys.
