Eh, do you really think people on Yahoo! Japan Auctions will sell them for just two extra dollars ? Not at all. That is what I mean by grossly overpriced : they will only be available through auction channels, and those people will know that they are available only in limited quantity and there is no reason they would not abuse that.

Oh yeah true, I see what you mean. I forgot that most people would have to buy them through eBay/YJA/Amazon. If we could buy them directly then the price increase would be more manageable.

Maybe if Oki or Dimsum2u come back they'd sell them at lower prices than we'd see elsewhere.

I'm very dissapointed by the whole "burst" gimmick. As for the beyblades themselves, it looks like they took the top from those gigantic sound making ones from the Plastic Gen, the weight disks from the HMS gen and the bottom from the 4D ones like F and F. However, considering how basic the original Metal Fight Beyblades were, I have high hopes. The Beyblogger on the other hand is brilliant. This is a much better version of the beypointer and should have been what they had instead. I like this.

Although it is unlikely let's hope they fix the dumb burst gimmick.

Attendants will be able to receive a "Rare Bey Get Battle" card, which they are also simultaneously calling "Bey Coder Cloud" and "BeyCloud Card". It will be worth 3000 points and will either automatically get you or help you get the legendary Umaterios, a new Beyblade to come later. However, if it is like Quetzalcoatl, it may never get a proper release and instead be forever known as a prize that never gets sold in stores, who knows. Bladers at the World Hobby Fair 2015 Summer will probably have to win several battles in order to receive this card.

"Striker", "Balancer", "Defender" and "Survivor" seem to have been scrapped since the press release. The terms still appear on the boxes, but as very secondary terms that TAKARA-TOMY should have personally removed altogether in order not to cause confusion ...

The Defense Driver is mostly ball-shaped, Fusion looks like FS (a flat tip with a small pointed tip in its center), while Accele is flat and Survive resembles a small D Bottom.
