The fact that there is a mechanism for interacting with your top mid-battle (the "boost" or whatever it's called) is fantastic; it adds an entirely new, skill-intensive dimension to a battle on top of customization and launch technique, which is awesome

That said, I'm not sure I'm sold on these yet, but color me intrigued.
