And the bad names strike again!
Format: The format for this event is Metal Fight Limited, which is a restricted part Metal Fight Beyblade format. Please read the rulebook prior to confirming your attendance to ensure that you or your child have the appropriate equipment to compete. Legal parts / launchers will not be lent out by event staff.
Host: The Supreme One
Location: This event will be held outdoors at MLK Jr. Recreational Park.
Time: As the tournament will start promptly at 4:00pm, please plan to arrive around 3:30pm when registration will begin. Registration will close at 3:50pm. Confirming your attendance on the WBO event page does not substitute for registration at the venue.
Other Information:
Please come prepared. It is helpful for both hosts and judges if all participants bring at least one Takara Tomy or Hasbro-manufactured Beyblade of their own and more than one launcher when possible. Additionally, parents of children under the age of 13 must be present for the duration of the event, as tournament end times can be difficult to estimate, and we would hate for someone to be left behind once it is over.
Be aware of your belongings. We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!
All players must arrive on-time. The tournament will begin no later than 4:00 PM and is expected to run for about 2 hours, though if there is a large turnout it may take longer. Please plan accordingly. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.
If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

Soo hype ! Anyone else hype?
I'm looking forward to this one. Not only did I pick up another MFB bey legal in this format, but it's the first time I've done 3v3 for MFL format.
If I lived near md I would go and probably lose cause I use lighting ldrago 125 sd(modded bbg style) or r2f.
My family is going to travel early spring break, sorry I can’t make it.
I actually bought some MFB for this!
Y’all ready to let it rip!
Which stadium is going to be used for this tournament?
It looks like I’m gonna be about 10 minutes late, would it be possible to delay the tournament a bit or no? Oops, meant to post this on the other tournament post

appreciate all the help today.
For perhaps the first time ever, we held a double header where Metal Fight had more players than Burst! As DC mentioned in his tournament report, nearly every player showed up with a legal 3on3 deck and competitive parts, which made this one of the most intense MFL tournaments I've attended in a while (especially considering that I had the most to lose with Geetster, Yami, OnTheDL, and beymaster absent). We also learned that P3C1 is probably a preferable format for MFL over 3on3, but I'd be curious to hear others' thoughts now that the event has concluded.
Thank you to everyone who helped judge and loaned tournament equipment and an extra thank you to the Mikes (Nightwing and CrisisCrusher) who stepped in to help even though it was their first Metal Fight tournament. As DC noted, we had 13 players instead of the intended 11, so I will be creating a new Challonge with the results for all players properly inputted later today. Looking forward to our next event!

I do remember you trying to change the tournament to P3C1 before we started, but it was advertised as a 3v3 tournament and I was insistent it remain so. As we all know, I really don't like the P3C1 format or find it fun or interesting, so I'm not sure what problem with 3v3 that P3C1 solves. Does 3v3 take a little longer? Sure. But it's more fun to me.

Personally the reason I like P3C1 is because it makes it more knowledge and skill than what the more luck based 3v3 is. In P3C1 I am able to look at the opponents options and see what my best option to counter the most would be. It creates a very deep mindgame on what combo to use. I would probably like 3V3 a little better than I do now (not better than P3C1) if you were able to look at the opponents deck before making your first order.

In P3C1 you see what the opponent has available to use before selecting what you’ll use. This allows for picking a sure counter or try to play a mind game. In 3v3 you’re really just guessing what they’ll use and what order (I know there’s the reshuffle, but you could get bad luck and lose before that). 3v3 is better for less diverse formats like burst standard because there really aren’t that many viable combos to think about, whereas in formats like classic and MFL there are so many viable combos and deeper interactions between things of the same type, so having it narrowed down to 3 makes it way easier to counter your opponent.
