if you still feel unsure, go ask them about it. that’s usually the number one foolproof way to double check authenticity. ask them questions that will reveal what they know about beyblade, ask where they got it from, ask to see pictures, all those kinds of things help Smile

Yeah, I don't think anyone has experience with jp_market. I usually avoid that one because there are a number of similar "jp_name" ones and many other trusted sellers.

If someone can prove they're legit, that's another good seller on the list.

Let us know if you figure out if it is jp_market or not. Just check your eBay history, it should say.

Even if it's not that seller, maybe you found a different one that's "new", which is still cool.

No worries, I forget sometimes about the age limits for buying. Maybe just try to ask if he has a free minute online to check, if it's not too much trouble.

@[leosama] the rP from your link just broke my sX, if it's THAT powerful,  I may try my luck at a rbv6 for  an atomic to actually see if my luck is better then when i opened an RBV7 and got the milky  Dranzer S

I don't know if you have covered this or not (I'm too lazy to read through the pages Tongue_out), but when you used to put "takara tomy" in your Ebay search for Beyblades, it would be easy to find TT Beyblades, but now, you will be like


GOOD LUCK WITH THAT! It is HARD to find TT Super Zetsu for a cheap price, because people are literally scamming people. They put "Takara Tomy" in the name to get people's attention. You now have to look at the brand. The name most likely will not tell you anymore.  Example of this garbage.

Well, this isn't exactly a how-to-spot-fakes thread. This thread, if you read the first post, actually lists where to get legit cheaply-priced Beyblades and gear. Because yeah, the scammers have upped their game on eBay.

If you simply buy from proven-trustworthy sellers thanks to the input of various WBO members and their experiences, you're good. It's unlikely that someone will sell realz then switch to fakes to fool people, and if they did, they'd be ripped off the list.

leosama's been awesome and has built this thread around people's experiences, and that's what makes it work.

So if you lack experience in judging eBay sellers, just buy straight out of this thread.

Good to know! I've always been wary because there's a number of "jp_names", which made me suspicious.
