Random Thoughts 5 - READ RULES IN FIRST POST

Not really sure where this belongs but , anyone read Tess Gerritsen's books?
Yo guys..
i'm currently working on Iron Man face plat..
making them from fiber glass + something that is called "white cement"
i 'm working on two sets..so..do you guys think i can sell one and make profit from it like putting them off ebay?
and if yes..i wonder how much can it be set for auction?

I'd buy it. But seriously though. Yeah , it depends on the outcome. If you think it's good , give it a higher price and vice versa.

Wear an appropriate respirator and gloves, as well as using the appropriate types of fiberglass. Excessive exposure to fiberglass and the resin/hardener can cause cancer and other sicknesses you definitely do not want.

Fiberglass can come in a cloth sheet form, or in a "loose" fibery form. The cloth sheet is good for large areas without lots of protrusions (used in surfboards, skimboards, etc). The loose form is good for patching up areas where there are a lot of edges (helmets).

I tried making a riot shield out of fiberglass using the loose fibery form. Not good since the shield was flat and it ended up being very messy (messy meaning that when the resin and hardener were applied to the fibers, some fibers were actually protruding out of the shield like spikes: read: dangerous).

I've always wanted to do a pepakura Iron Man helmet then fiberglass it, but I have a Mac and can't open the Pep files without dual booting. I would love to sculpt my helmets, though.
haha..i always use glove...i dont use much fiber glass raisin bcos its hard to sand..so i move to cellulose filler..it has better texture...but fragile... T.T
Holy, just started the Inazuma Eleven Go 2: Chrono Stone series. I've been running through One Piece, so I didn't get to it till now.

It turned into a tokusatsu, oh god. The villain can transform into a phoenix man (Ho Ningen in Japanese right?) now.
I'm starting to feel like I want to punch. Punch hard. Like a wall. I don't know why. Maybe its because I was watching too much Soul Eater.

Has anyone ever joined a NJROTC program at their school? I know what you do ; I want to know how it feels yo be a cadet....

Any clue?

@ Fantomu

Considering how you've posted 353 times since your registration in January, I'm not surprised. 3.12 posts a day is a fair amount. Sure I got 1,094 posts and 5.19 posts a day, but that's because I have nothing else to do but go on here a post about everything, and I registered in October...

Anyway, just let them know (that is if they keep spamming you for info) to find somebody who is good at this, like me or other popular members... They should understand...

If you post in the "Introduce Yourself!" forum, and say to PM you if they ever need help, wouldn't that be a reason why people PM you? They might see that post, and assume they can PM you as well.

Yeah, 1094 posts, dear lord that's a record breaker!

This isn't a bad thing. Try to help when possible or otherwise lead them to a specific thread where their question could probably be answered with a high degree of clarity, thought and explanation.. We hope.

Totally not conceited bro.
I agree with what you're saying but unless it is someones topic in particular (customizations forum or something), there is probably an entire thread devoted to the possible questions he may receive meaning more input from different people/different views and opinions. Which is always good.

Yeah, they can go to you and only get half right answers every time.

GJ.
Tone down the unnecessary obnoxiousness~~~~~~~~

Sorry Hazel. Was venting, as it's been bugging me for a while now. I apologise to both you and DefStamina88, and will discuss this in private messages, as I should have in the first place. Hopefully something good can come of this, haha.
Soon, I will have a Business Studies exam, I am not too worried as it is one of my best subjects, Oh and I hopefully won't be late late this time. Wink
I dropped my iPod into the sink yesterday (it was filled with water). It shut off. Even though I lost all of my data, it still works. Fortunately most of my apps were free, so I can just reload them. No $99.99 of mine is getting wasted yet...!
Well, it's the last week of school, and we have finals... Spanish (yesterday) was incredibly easy, but the Math final today... Not so much. It had questions related to multiplying binomials/trinomials, factoring, graphing inequalities, and rules of exponents. Graphing inequalities was my weak spot, but some of the other questions were challenging as well... I have a 90 in the class right now, and I've had straight A's for the entire year, and
I'm thinking this will drop me down to a B. Unhappy

On the other hand, I'm going to see some relatives in a week or two. I'll be camping up in Vermont, and then hanging around in Ithaca, NY.

What? Today's the last day for you? I'm still counting down.
To think of it... my only primary self defenes move is the palm heel strike...
That's not good... I hope I wont need to use it.
Anyways, today, I thought about how much I act kinda...
Like a girl.
Also, bored because I have 4 days of doing nothing.

Edit: stupid spell check.

Defenestration: noun; the action of throwing someone or something out of a window. From Latin de ("down from") and fenestra, "window". Why would you ever want to throw yourself out a window, and how would hitting something with the heel of your hand help?

Maybe he'd palm heel strike himself and faint, thus unable to jump out the window.

Oh man, graphing inequalities is a definite weak spot here too. I'm terrible at graphs unless they're basic. Like REALLY basic.
