That joke was so meta. It was kind of madness

I can tell these meta puns are gonna be around for a while.
How do you tell an old man from the library´s cleaning staff, who is absolutely nuts about you, to just leave you alone and not chatter on you and try to hug you whenever he sees you, without being too impolite? -.-

Creepy old guy or just lonely friendly old guy?

If he means no harm, take your fiancee with you a couple times. Any non socially clueless man will know that you are involved in a relationship. If it continues, when he is coming in for a hug just tell him you/your fiancee is uncomfortable with you being that close to an another man. This has worked in most of the cases I have witnessed, if he continues it leads up to the creepy rank though. Then, yes you have to complain to his superiors.

Most people would simply say to complain, but if you can peacefully resolve it on your own its not worth getting it put on the guys record without you even trying to resolve it, if he means no harm.

Actually, both. He even knows my fiancee, because he´s already been here studying with me a couple of times, just to "show" himself. The weird thing is that it was just when he came to speak of my upcoming marriage that he suddenly became ecstatic, grinned ear to ear and BAM hit me with a kiss on the cheek. Could be that he was just truly delighted for me since he seems to be from a very candid eastern culture, but nevertheless, that was just WAY too close and I didn´t even have the chance to refuse. Also not to say anything afterwards, because then he literally ran back to his vacuum cleaner, grinning, and absconded just as fast as he came (which would be the creepy part)... Gosh, I was so glad that I had desinfectant with me...
So I guess I´ll have to tell him. Pinning it on my fiancee would actually be a great idea, I only don´t know how to start and phrase it... :\
Eastern as in Eastern European, or Eastern as in Asian? Your description doesn't sound like any Asians I know, but it does sound like a very Eastern European thing to do. xD

You got that right, dudeJoyful_2 I assume something like Roumanian. He seems to be very affectionate, but those kind of things are definitely not my cup of tea, especially with that much difference in age (could be my grandfather)... And I don´t want to be so rude and just tell him to stop those things, if he´s only being nice according to his cultural standards. But on the other hand... I don´t want that...argh! Pinching_eyes

Maybe this was the wrong word... I meant very open, friendly and not avoiding physical contact. I know quite a few people like him, but they are my friends AND about the same age, so it´s not nearly as awkward...

Uhm I have to apologize, because I used it in the first place. XD Buut yeah, touchy is pretty much what I meant, thanks! Grin

If it bothers you enough, I think you should probably let him know. From the way you've described him, I'd think he'd most likely understand where you're coming from.

I wish I knew more people like that around here, ha ha... I need new friends Crying
He's probably just from a different culture and stuff.

I heard that in Russia hugs are quite popular.

Whoa, don´t scare me... If he starts doing this everytime we meet, I´m positive I´ll go ballistic. One @[Angry Face] is enough. Tongue_out_wink

First weekend of serious wedding planning is complete. WE have a date, a venue, and may have the reception venue. Will know about that on Wednesday.
Well the final countdown is about to begin is it Dark?

Anyone have a romantic interest here? I've decided to hold off until I know more on romance.

@Caek's post on the other page:
Wait, which of the LMP Prototypes are hybrids? The only ones I know are the R10\R15 (Audi), TS030 (Toyota) and the historic ones like Sauber C9, Mazda 787B, Peugeot 905/908, and Nissan R390. Need to brush up the catalog I guess hah.

Racing for 24 hours in a 13km long circuit does bad things for the engine, the bodywork and the driver of a car does it?

And speaking on, does anyone here like cars? I liked LMP-1 Cars (Group C), Super GT cars, and Group B Rally cars the most. A personal favorite is the Ford RS200.
I never actually had the chance to have a ''real'' girlfriend, so I can't really tell if I ever had a ''romantic interest'' or not. To be honest, I don't really want to waste my time with girls.
yay, i can solve a megaminx.

Stoney peacefully walks down the corridor.
Out of nowhere a wild Creepy Old Guy pops out!
Now you chose, confrontation or let it happen????
Too late to choose, he comes in for the touchies!!
Stoney puts her hands out in a deflective motion!!
It is effective!!!
Stoneys use her special ability "I'm sorry Mr _____, _____ would feel uncomfortable with being that affectionate to another man."
Stoney scurries off.

There ya go. Also yeah, he might not yet understand because of how open his culture is.

You only need one kind of Bey.
I'm happy to be single after a long time of being in long-term relationships :')
The WBO could have one hell of a bachelor's party.
A good way to ensure we remain bachelors forever
