Questions about the WBO

Use the online version, I forgot to mention that haha. I never use the installed one.
thanks, i'll get it incase imgur fails.
Beyfan, with all that text below your signature, I'm 99% sure you're over the limit.
500x200 looks something like

that (took it off google images).
Your signature is way larger than that.
Its height is 706 pixels. You can determine it on Chrome, (CTRL+ALT/OPTION+J on Mac), and click the search icon and you can see it.

Yes it is too large.
I really think this needs to be clarified in the site rules, i.e. they need to state clearly that text is included in the height measurement, and how many pixels a line of text takes up etc.
I don't think the text pixel is necessary, since we would have to do that for every size that is on here.

The 'bump'-ing needs to be added too I believe - is that anywhere on this forum? I have not ever seen it throughout the time being here, only seeing other members getting told off.
sorry about that, the text was a warning to whoever deleted my sig before. i'll fix it when i get the chance, sorry it took so long to respond, i was sleeping through the night. XD again, really sorry it being too large really was an accident.

edit: and i realize that doesn't sound right, sorry about that too. XD
so if I went to a tournament could I get the judge to inspect the parts I'm going to use and tell me which ones are illegal so that I could put the illegal ones back in the place I'm transporting my bey's Smile and when I say parts I'm going to use I mean throughout the entire tournament Smile
Yes you can ask anyone, but I would ask someone who really knows there parts. I once did it at a tournament.
yeah that's why I said the judge... because I would hate it if I got caught using an illegal part without knowing it Unhappy oh and when you edit a thread and you see that it say's that if you delete the OP you delete the entire thread does that just close it or put it in the erased post that only MOD's/Commite mebers can view?
hiyas, i was gonna put some text (different from the old text) in my sig, but i'm not sure how to do it without going over the limit. then i saw people with sigs way beyond the limit but fixed with spoilers. would this work without breaking rules or would this still be a problem?

edit: k k ty lazer and ultramarine.
As long as when the spoiler is closed it doesn't surpass the limit, then go right ahead.
anything in spoilers doens't count twoards the pixels IIRC so just put everything in spoilers and vwalla BTW a line of text takes up about 16-18 pixels...

Few people stray from the default line size. Just state that the default text height is whatever. No need to go further, really...
hiyas, sorry i've been posting in here so much, but it seems i end up having a lot to ask. anyways, i was gonna post a thread in the buy section asking for prices for a rare bey, but detailing that i don't know if i can buy it yet, as my mom would be paying, and she's very wary about these things. anyways, my problem is that i didn't know if that would fit in the buy section, or if there's somewhere else i should post it.
The purchase consultation topic could be of some use for that instead of a new a thread.
Can you post in thread no matter how old they are?

I would refrain from posting in threads that have been inactive for a long time. As this will get you a warning.
There is probably a reason people have stopped posting there.
Well you can post in any thread, no matter how old it is, unless it is locked or closed. However, you should not bump a thread that is say 2-3 years o;d, for obvious reasons, as it is just making a thread active, in which no-one will probably post in, considering they haven't already. (This is although what I think, I am not absolutely totally sure.)
Usually though, if you have a good contribution or something important to say, reviving a thread can be acceptable.
like say the thred about your most embarrising moments I or someone else revived it and contributed to it and had a few more contributers basically reviving a thread for an important reason or you have something to say and there is cleary nothing wrong in it and the thread was basically lost/buried I'd say it would be ok Smile
Posting in an inactive thread is fine, as long as it contains relevant and interesting thoughts. You will most definitely get a warning if you post for example: "Cool release!" in the Diablo Nemesis thread, which has been dead forma while now.

Some threads are quite interesting, but newer threads end up burying them and thus resulting in people not being able to locate and care for them.
So, would posting in the UFC thread be okay, even though it hasn't been revived since 2007?
how do i give myself a signature picture
You can make one or have someone make one for you and put the url between this:
