Questions about the WBO

(Aug. 03, 2016  8:45 PM)Kai-V Wrote: For sure Beywiki and part tests are really lacking at the moment. Of course we would also like to have more frequent videos for BeyChannel too, but it takes a good subject, a good script, a good video quality, etc. and so far nobody has done videos for us that are not tournament footage or just editing clips we provided.

For Beywiki, there is a lot of little-effort-or-thinking job that can be done really easily and help a lot with the migration to Beyblade Wiki. Some of us had offered to help at the beginning, but clearly our efforts have stalled entirely.

Thank you in advance for anything you do choise to help with, we deeply appreciate it.

I would love to help with the BeyWiki and part tests if that's alright. As for the BeyChannel, I would like to help as well.

Please let me know if this is possible.
Everything is possible hahah. Do you know where to start, how exactly we need help, etc.?

I already did a few pages for the Beyblade Wikia. Smile I got that covered, will be doing probably the whole list of letter D today later.
As for the BeyChannel, what kind of videos, setup, etc.? Thanks. Smile
Alright cool, I am away on a trip right now but I really appreciate what you are doing and will try to take a look at what you did for Beyblade Wiki soon. Basically, you are being careful about formating articles properly, moving descriptions only in part-specific articles and using import codes in the main Beyblade's page, etc.?

For videos, you could get inspiration from the types of videos we already uploaded to BeyChannel. Essentially, it could be any subject, ideally from the competitive metagame, that you think deserves an elaboration on video. For instance, I wanted to make a video about how to adapt to different types of stadiums, how they are different and how those variations matter, etc. for a long time now, hah... However, that particular subject requires owning many types of stadiums.

Yes, I edited some of them with more information and as for new pages I used one of the Beyblade's templates to edit and add information. I have been extra careful.

Here are the links if you want to review them:

As for the BeyChannel, I only have 2 BB-10s and a white Burst stadium and the black one. Since I don't have other stadiums, maybe I could do a video between the 2 Burst stadiums? I'll see what I can do but I'll let you know first for permission.
And no problem! I love helping the WBO, in anyway possible. Smile
I was just reading WBO Universal Rule Book and found some rules which I found strange [will tell what strange was] so I had some questions

Well if it's not legal to use a Sub-AR [like for ex. Dragoon Saucer] with AR it didn't came with [like Twin Horn]. why do most of top-tier combos use Different Sub-AR and AR together? those that means rules changed? and if yes why do that Screw Zeus + Dragoon Breaker ban Discussion even exist

does that means we don't get Beypoints [or BeyRanking] for Plastic and HMS tournaments? or do they are mixed with MFB Beypoints?

Sorry if these questions are stupid and thanks for answer in advance
To answer your questions, swapping SARs is generally OK; the problem with Screw Zeus + Dragoon Breaker is that the two simply don't fit together. Your question is similar to asking "If I'm allowed to exchange Clear Wheels between Beyblades, why can't I put my L-Drago Guardian CW and Lightning L-Drago MW together legally?" - the parts don't fit properly; even though you can force them together, you risk damaging your own Beyblade by doing it and it's clearly not intended to fit. And yes, Plastics and HMS are unranked (though tbh I don't see why they shouldn't be, now that there's the framework for separate ranking systems with MFB/Burst)
I think he just misread the rule. It says you CAN, not that you CAN'T.

opps. yeah I guess i thought it's 'may not'. sorry about that

and thanks for answer Cake. my all doubts are cleared
I dunno why, but for some reason the WBO is currently littered with Japanese language from my POV. Can anyone help me with this?
@[RDF3] you may have clicked the language change button in the top right corner
Ah, yes. It's fixed now, thanks a lot!
When's is there going to be uk events?

You should check out the London thread: https://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-London-...n=lastpost
Does anyone know what happened to Uwik? I'm assuming life stuff, but I don't remember him saying goodbye or anything.
I think he just lost interest and never logged back on it seems like as he is still a moderator
He never truly quit, but he has definitely just fully merged into life now, hah.
Indonesians are very busy nowadays, so yeah, Uwik and most of the Indonesian members (apart from me and on rare occasions Kujikato) aren't logging in today.

I'm waiting for the return of the scene in Indonesia, but (as I said 3 times already) Burst isn't even officially released here yet, and I'm still holding on to my aging MFB since shipping to Indonesia is extremely expensive (in some cases exceeding the actual cost of the items IIRC). So there's still a ray of hope, right now it's extremely small but it's going to grow substantially soon. Hopefully.......
Hey, why did @[AceofPiplupM] get banned? :0

For the reason that he was an obvious troll (based on some posts he made that were deleted and messages he sent to me), and there's no reason for us to humor people who are seriously only here to be annoying.

We have pretty clear community guidelines and we expect any member that contributes here to do so with good intentions. Pretty simple stuff!
Ah, I see... Thanks for the reply.
What happened to G and Ichida? Unhappy

They're both just doing their own thing. I'm still in touch with both of them.

Cool, that's nice to hear! Grin
I know it's little weird question but why doesn't that delete button [which we see while editing a post] works at all?
