[Product]  BB-114 VariAres D:D

Was sorta hoping for 'Vari' Ares owner to be a Massively Ripped guy with Ripped Vest. A real Bad-carp. Instead we get a somewhat 'Psychic' Psychological Character. The Owner/the Owner's Group look like a Main part of the Story. Interesting.

The MW in the First pic looks like 'Vari' but in the Third one. It looks like that Earth Virgo recolour with red CW. Cant remember which set.
Looks like a 3 winged wheel to me, I don't know how anyone could see killer (one wing is too small), tornado (wings too large), or earth(again, too wings too large, shape all wrong, too bumpy).
Jaems side view pics look reasonably consistent with what we can see. And none of those options explain the weird cw appearance any better...
The picture shows loads of little spikes so how could it possibly be three winged?
Are you referring to the image Kai-V posted that was "from the top:" a couple of posts back? Because that's what I'm talking about
Honestly, Hell is bumpy, and it looks just like hell to me. It is sloped downwards as it moves to the centre, the "heads" look like hell... It looks 3 winged to me. Three Bumpy wings, yeah, but hell nonetheless. I can kinda see how people see earth, but yeah.

The side on Jaems posted looks close enough to me, too.

FWIW, hope everyone keeps this manga image in mind here, it was posed earlier on in the thread by Diamon, but it shows a side on view and the owner: http://ameblo.jp/otenki2010/image-108911...72032.html

The hair is completely different, even given the hood, it doesn't look right...
Honestly, the anime has done infamous "tricks" with perspective to make a Beyblade appear as something else (dramatically at times) in distance.
The Beyblade from that snapshot could be the "unevolved form" of Vari Ares. Just a thought.
Apparently D:D would stand for Delta Drive.
Thanks for the info kai-v Delta sounds really cool hopefully it will be a good bottom unlike FGrin OR FConfused

Any idea as to when we may learn what the gimmick is?

As soon as possible, hah.
Hmmh, that's a bit harder to guess than the last two. I'm guessing Delta signifies a different switching time to Final, and Drive means it might be like F: D, from plastic to rubber (or otherwise). Hell, could be the reversed version of F: D (though hopefully they wouldn't be silly enough to make it just a reversed FGrin, as IIRC the rubber section of F: D self KO's easy when used at full power).

Still, delta doesn't make much sense, the greek letter delta (Uppercase: Δ) is mainly used in maths/science/graphing to represent "Change In (x)". But tbh, that's not really in a way that's meaningful to timing/beyblade.

As for mythology/ancient greek stuff, Δ was the symbol of Daedalus (inventor/architect). Nothing about that's particularly relevant.
Hopefully, it will turn out good along with Kronus because the first few aren't that much except for Beat Lynx. Thanks for the update Kai-V!
You do realise that pretty much every 4D has been useful/good, and would be ridiculous if basalt wasn't around? Very few wheels before LDrago Destroy, Fang or Big Bang (on 230) can even manage 10% against the stronger basalt combo's. The only reason they're not considered "amazing" is because they've been released after basalt, so they don't make a big impact. If basalt hadn't been released, everyone would be calling for something to be done because these new attack types (especially fang) would just be throwing beys around left right and centre.

True. The only thing that Delta says to me is change. But, that would be easily seen due to the fact this is a 4D bey XD

I know of Alpha and Omega being the start and the end, so I thought maybe Delta could have some sort of similar meaning. Guess not.

Hahaha, so everyone is in the dark it seems.

Good call. I assumed it was a variation due to translation but I was obviously wrong.
Wow... This bey looks so epic! I hope it's good. Maybe even be the "attack version" of BasaltGrin
Thanks for the update Kai-V
Delta Drive? Sort a weird name.
I hope it won't be a reverse of F : D and pretty much hope it won't have a rubber coat.

Ummm, actually a rubber coat would make it better... Rubber would make it a stronger attack type (if u did ur bey hw).... If both modes of the bottom are rubber, then that would be sick! RF to WRF... take a minute to think about that (directed to all the attack bladers out there)... then again, it might be too much attack power to handle. XD

Hopefully not, because most people got over that meme a couple of years ago. Uncertain

I don't really think RF to WRF is that great an idea, though, LRF/R2F are absolutely great as it is, other than poor stamina/survival ability, so I'd rather swap to something like CS or SF later in the battle Uncertain

Still, this is all pointless speculation, we have no idea about what D: D will do.
My guess is that Delta means that it's shaped like a triangle and Drive would mean that it goes from Attack/Stamina to Stronger Attack.
this bey in my honest perception may be a balance type. the D;D may be an appropriate name for the tip and track since delta is a triangle and D;D has 3 tips. and maybe its gonna be a defense attack and stamina tips. the wheel does appear to have major contact points and an almost circular wheel

delta is represented by a triangle and the tip may have 3 modes the wheel does look triangular also the yellow portion
Stop posting false and unconfirmed information. Where did you ever get that D:D had three modes ?
does anyone notice that there is something like a triangular clear wheel on the metal wheel

sorry just another hypothesis
The contact points on this don't have a point like plastic Dragoons, or Lightning L Drago, it's sorta like a hammer blunt contact points, but curved. But it does have alot of them, so maybe it'll have good smash.
