I just a Basalt Horogium yesterday along with a Killer Beafowl. He is not the best ,and he lost to Earth Eagle.
[Product] BB-104 Basalt Horogium 145WD
in the previous posts , i read somewhere that basalt gives its self recoil but how is that possible if it is completly round?
There are ridges on the MW, and is a bit unbalanced, thus creating recoil.

.... my goodness do you two seriously just want to repeat what has already been said for the past 10+ pages?... these things are OLD news even from the start of advertisement people should have seen it (i did..).
Well, my basalt horogium arrived today, I'll do some testing later, but here are my first thoughts.
OKAY, PLEASE NOTE: FOR NOW, THESE ARE JUST OBSERVATIONS BASED OFF A COUPLE OF BATTLES, NOT THOROUGH TESTING, SO TAKE THEM WITH A PINCH OF (BA)SALT. This is also why I haven't put it in the basalt thread yet, though I may copy this over, but I don't want to mislead people there, given it's a proper testing thread.
The lack of balance is obviously the only thing stopping it from being a force of nature, though honestly, it's easily top tier.
It's doing fine against traditional right spin attack types, even on WD (though I haven't done MUCH testing there), but against MF Gravity Perseus D125MF, it's getting thrown out quite a bit more (n MFH Basalt Aquario GB145CS), though when CS is attacking, it can KO just about anything early on, because of it's weight. And it's so easily destabilised by left spin beys.
That said, WD actually seems to be the perfect tip for it. Yeah, even in defense, it gives it enough stamina to outlast Metal Flat, and Basalts weight and VERY LOW RECOIL keep it in... RS is obviously not going to work, and, most importantly, BASALT WORKS BEST IF IT'S IN THE CENTRE OF THE STADIUM, AS IT GIVES IT TIME TO RECOVER AND SLINGSHOT ITSELF BACK IN. CS hasn't worked well so far, as basalt can quite easily be hit out of the stadium if it's not in the centre. Also, WD means it can outspin the equalising effects of MF Gravity Perseus D125MF, and MF Gravity Perseus R145RF. Haven't tried it against MLD90MF yet, but yeah.
Oh, also, EWD is too easily KO'd in MFH Basalt Aquario GB145EWD. It's just slightly worse than WD, with no real benefit. It also seems to get destabilised easier
It seems possible that MLD90MF could outspin it, but in a couple of rounds, Basalt gets destabilised badly, but manages to hit MLD, and gain enough spin to right itself, and then WD outspins MF.
Yeah, I need to try LLDrago, but both my ch120's broke (hence D125 on gravity, but I believe the height affects LLD more). That's probably the most common variant right now, given 230's prominence, so yeah.
Waite: Okay, MF Lightning L Drago D125RF seems to do slightly better against basalt, but get's recoil KO'd A LOT. And, again, basalt narrowly outspins it
Oh, and Basalt has a nice overhang, leaving very little gap between it and BD145, but obviously, boot disks stamina issues make it a bad choice. Honestly, Basalt is pretty bloody good uncustomised.
Also, I dunno if this is old news, but one of the flat sections (with no indents) on the outside of Basalt pokes out more than the others. This is the one before the "staircase" inside the wheel starts. The flat section before that one pokes out a little, but not as much.
EDIT: OH GOD I JUST DROPPED MFH BASALT AQUARIO GB145WD ON MY FOOT. IT IS HEAVY AND PAINFUL.
So, in conclusion, I believe, as of right now, WD is better than RS and CS as a tip for basalt for defence (without unneccessarily trading off stamina). I don't think basalt is too overpowered, it's lack of balance, and rather low recoil, it's not useful for stamina, or attack (It can work for attack, but it's heavily outclassed by everything else). It's stamina is poor enough to affect it's defence, and it's poor balance means that you don't want it roaming the stadium in a defence combo. I mean, yeah, so far it's been great for defence, but I don't think it's unbeatable, it's far too specialised.
EDIT: Basalt Bull 85RF works as an okay attack type, but it doesn't hurt MF-H Earth Aquario GB145RS at all, so yeah, it's outclassed.
FURTHER: Uhh, my MF-F Basalt BUll 230CS just beat Earth (TTMold2) Bull 85WD... By quite a margin... I didn't expect that, and convincingly beat Earth Bull AD145WD too. So far I haven't managed to KO or outspin it with an attack type. I've gotta check this out. 230 seems to help Basalts stability. I've also just ordered ray gil, I know it's only slightly unbalanced, but if it lines up right, maybe that might even help a little more.
And I'm starting to think that may be due to it hitting stuff below it. Hmmm.
So, uhh, Basalt+230 may need to be banned. I really don't think the wheel itself should be banned, as defence desperately needs this (and libra), but yeah, so far MF-F Basalt Bull 230CS is Dominating.
EDIT AGAIN: I may be overreacting, remember, these are just quick rounds. MF Gravity Perseus R145RF seems to be able to topple it (so far it's been close, but again, this is only a couple of rounds). Also, other 230-track stamina combos should be able to beat it (in theory, anyway). It might even make attack types more common in tourneys outside italy.
Also, my current answer to all of beyblades problems: Try MF Gravity Perseus (Attack Ver) CH120MF (Counter mode, and whatever spin is logical) seems to work here, MF Gravity Perseus (ATK) 145MF seems to do decently against it, being able to either tip it and then spin it out of the stadium, or draw any battle being decided by stamina.

yup gotta be and its that good with WD.....beast.lol it must be blue eyes of beyblade. at least in muscle
Nah, as I said, WD is probably the best tip for it I've found, at least in 145 height combos. RS's stamina is too poor, and it shouldn't be allowed to roam on CS/WB/RSF
EDIT: So, the combo I'm sticking with is MF-F Basalt Bull 230CS, where the Bull is hasbro (I don't have a TT one), and my CS is quite worn, the rubber not being flat, but a continuation of the slope of the tip, which is somewhat worn. It still acts like a normal cs, if tamer, I suppose.

I saw this yesterday and thought "WTH"...

This just cannot be legit...
I got similar result much like Takunanapapapa's video...

You do realize Takuna launched very weak right? I have seen this up close and the stamina it has is quite formidable and EASILY breaks the 3 minute margin so....

Agreed. Yesterday's tourney proved this countless times. In stamina, it did really well. Basalt's weakness is getting hit from below and above. Once you lose balance, its over. I wish I had my recording.
I think it was clearly established in another topic that bb18libra illegally modified one of his Basalt ... Hence why he calls it "P Basalt Horogium". Therefore, such a time is definitely abnormal if you actually play with Beyblade parts.
I was addressing the Takuna video on how it spun for such a short time and I am very sure Spin-Sonic was too. I understand your statement though so thank you for addressing that.

Thank you Kai-V.
im probably repeating what has already been said but is libra still banned now that this is out

So when it says "50g", does it mean that the Wheel + Clear Wheel weight that much?
That seems a little extreme, I think it's referring to the beyblade as a whole.
Even if that's true, the Track shown in the pictures (125? Or is it 145?) along with the Bottom could not weigh more than 3 grams or so.
the Basalt Horogium comes with 145WD
I just got my SK basalt yesterday and my WD part fits pretty loose on the track and when I shake my hand it makes a rattle noise. Even when I spin it, it makes a loud noise then after a few seconds it becomes very silent. Does anyone else has this problem with the SK Basalt WD part? Or can anyone post how to fix it and make the WD and track fit tightly?
the sonokong v.is not that good the snipe launcher is bad and when basalt battles my my stamina combo it ALWAYS loses cause it gives itself recoil cause the part of it token out would of made it Invincible cause then it would weigh at least 5 more grams making it impossible top beat
Really? My sonokong version is fantastic, even it's stock configuration is okay. If you're using it stock, then it's not going to be amazing. What's the stamina combo?
the stamina combo is Earth peafowl 90 WD and i Always launch it first
Well, that's predictable, 145 height stamina combos (which, given it's against a stamina combo, basalt is), don't beat ltsc's, generally (hell kerbex bd145wd is an exception), because the ltsc's destabilise them, strock basalt is especially weak to this. A proper basalt stramina combo is basalt bull 230cs, which also has great defense. Otherwise, basalt is a defense wheel, so it's generally going to lose vs stramina anyway.
yeah as i said it does have a bit of general stamina but 2 stars not good enough and IT cannot Spin steal i would of took meteo but i took baslat
