[Product]  B-48 Starter Xeno Xcalibur .M.I

Hahaha, that sucks, although now I understand how they got that clear blue effect on the X.

You can't really give gold plastic that nice metallic effect without paint (see: Amaterios). I expected it would be painted. Did not expect it would be the same clear blue plastic.
Tired i was really hoping Xeno Xcalibur, paint or no, would be more durable...
This isn't a durability issue. The part is fine. The paint is just being scratched off.
Cool Leo!

I think I will take a real advantage of this release!
Sword Launcher fun fact!
The sword launcher makes the prongs rotate 6.5 times, long winder rotates 6 times, regular winder rotates 5 times
Would you have a spare one to open? I just purchased mine but on top of the postal strike here, there was not enough left in stock to order two to be able to see the insides hah.

I really want to see if my guess that the gear inside was elongated to fit the whole length of the sword handle is true.

So expect about 8 rotations from sword and long winder?
No need to open your Sword Launcher, someone on Twitter already did hah:

I do not remember exactly what the interior mechanisms of regular launchers were like, but these ones do not appear extraordinary in any fashion, no? And yet the Sword Winder is shorter than a Long Winder, so how could it give more revolutions...
like I have already specified the long winder can not be used with the sword launcher
can not go inside correctly

Unlike in regular Launchers, where just one gear attached directly to the launcher prongs' shaft meshes with the winder, the Sword Launcher looks like it has a gear train system consisting of three gears that appear to become progressively smaller moving away from the largest gear that meshes with the Sword Winder, ending at the smallest gear that surrounds the launcher prongs' shaft.

If this is actually the case, then this design should increase the mechanical advantage of the whole launcher system, resulting in stronger launches, despite a seemingly shorter winder lengthwise. Teeth-to-gear ratio is the biggest factor here. (yea, more science Grin)

By "smallest gear", are you referring to the core of the one above the prongs, that is both black and white for the BeyLogger to read? Because the smallest gear I can see is the one with the propellers, fully black, and it is not really above the prongs.

I remember now that a Metal Fight Beyblade BeyLauncher has two very large gears that are also interconnected. It also says in the article you linked to that a third, idler gear in the middle gives no advantage at all and only serves the purpose of making the third gear turn in the same direction as the first hah.
Not even a week yet...

The sword looked fairly sturdy but I guess not. Thanks BeyGARRR!
Wow... so much for an "advanced" X2. We already get a broken one... that didn't take long (not even the first Xcalibur broke this soon).

Ah ha! So this image I posted earlier was a breakage after all. Anyway, this is really disappointing. Maybe we'll get a reinforced X2? Tongue_out
no the picture that you posted earlier wasnt a breakage but just the gold paint got damaged
after that the layer was perfectly fine

Yeah, looking back at the other recent pictures you're absolutely right. Still, on top of paint chipping, we now have to worry about potential breakages. :\
Holy hell, unknowingly Kevo was right: that part does break, and almost spectacularly so.

Wow, and it came out only a few days ago...
Wow. I didn´t expect to see the first breakage this soon. I hope that this was just an individual case. Unhappy
i hope this is just a freak accident, and it doesn't become a very common like V2 breaking.
TT should have some fun reinforcing THIS without making it unbalanced or too heavy!
But @[Kai-V], BeyGa posted it already... It's on the previous page.
Oh no... I'm sorry to see such a serious break of this caliber so soon... I hope this doesn't end up being a trend with the layer, but I'm a little skeptical since it's so new.
