That does make sense, it is a dumb idea on TT's part in my opinion. I know it's supposed to emulate the "Nothing Breaker" move but much like the "Double Impact" gimmick, it's a move that doesn't work in real life. It's a stamina type driver, so why are they making an attack type mode, besides the anime at this point.

Because why make a pure-Stamina type when you can try to make an Attack type out of it too?
Like, this thing really seems more like an Attack/Stamina hybrid to me. The fact that it's still a Stamina type with such an angular shape and aggressive tactics amuses me.

It’s a very low angle tip, which would normally give it an agressive pattern, but the fact that it is freespinning counters this. When it’s pushed down the teeth interlock to stop it from freespinning, unlocking this agressive power.
