Let's not have fake images start circulating in this thread. If it's not from the Official Sites, Serebii, Bulbapedia, or Pokebeach, do not post it.

Chespin breaks the "reptilian aspect" of the grass unless it is based off of some lizard/mammal hybrid.
As for Froakie hes the only one going in line of tradition in terms of "something based on living in the water". My two sense,
As for the Froakie thing, well obviously any Water type is going to try to be based off of living in water That's why it is a Water type...lol
Bulbasaur's evolution line is based off of dinosaurs, which are reptiles. "Saur" is even included in the names.
Chikorita's evolution line is based off of dinosaurs, specifically sauropods yet again.
Treecko's evolution line are obviously lizards.
Turtwig's evolution line are turtles and tortoises, which contrary to popular belief, are reptiles and not amphibians.
I agree with Clonetos' opinion. Chespin resembles more of a rodent, which is a mammal by the way, then any of the other reptilian Grass starters.
EDIT: Quadruple-ninja'd. I am REALLY getting too old for this...

They can't do the same things with a DS as they can with a 3DS. Just because they are trying to bring a new way to view Pokemon entirely, it shouldn't be misinterpreted as "THEY ONLY WANT MOAR MONEE". You could turn pretty much any perspective of change into "for the money". The WBO wants us to donate money to make our experience better, CUZ THEY WANT MOAR MONEY.

Once again, I never said they "only want more money". I only said that what they were doing was sly, regardless, it was a very expected move. And I am fully aware of the fact that the 3DS is capable of doing more than the DS. My only point is that in making Pokémon X and Y 3D, Nintendo just forced all loyal Pokémon fans to spend extra money and buy a 3DS, unless (like me) they already own one. That is all. I am not trying to say that their move was unexpected, unnecessary, or silly at all, just that it was cunning.
And how does the WBO have anything to do with this? They're asking you for a donation. They're not forcing you to pay for your membership. That's pretty much what Nintendo's doing. They're forcing you to pay way extra before you can even pay for the game, unless you already paid the extra.

The photo I posted is not real in any way. It is fake. I simply posted it to shut down a rumor before any ideas picked up.

Or you could actually wait to see what exclusives each game has and what differs between the two other than just the Legendary? Cuz you know, they do that.

I hope that would allow for more Pokémon to be combined and take off from the original idea of the DNA Splicers in B2W2.
This also might prevent any speculation about a supposed 'Z' (when we really should be focusing on X and Y haha) because obviously no such renown chromosome going under the 'Z' banner exists as far as I know.
