Venue: Central Park South in Heckscher Playground
Directions:
To get to Central Park south, you can take the R, N or Q train and get off at Fifth avenue and 59th street. Also, you can take the ABCD1 trains to 59th st. Columbus Circle

Times:
* Meet up at 59th St. Columbus Circle at 1:30pm underneath the giant globe.
* Head to Heckscher Playground to set up along with practice and free play at 2:00pm. Registration will take place at this time.
* Official tournament starts at 3:00pm


Like all official WBO tournaments, there will be a $5 entrance fee if you don't have a Blader's Passport. You can buy one at the tournament for $10. As you know it allows you to enter any tournament for the next year without paying the fee, as well as giving you the chance to participate in whatever contests or giveaways the WBO may offer.

So far the judges are ikmv, Armored00taku, and myself. As more people sign up I will seek out more judges. The format of the tournament depends on the number of entrants we get. I have stadiums as well as ikmv, but feel free to bring your own Takara Tomy stadiums. It's better to have more so that the free play runs smoothly. Also, I will pretty closely follow the time schedule set up, so please try to make it on time, if not early.

Additional Comments: I remind you all to be very mindful of your belongings. Let's have fun. The weather should be good around this time. Also, I don't care what any of you say. I like the name I chose! Also, somebody should totally make some awesome graphic for this event. ALSO, DO NOT SPAM THIS THREAD!

Holy Hera, did it rain like a mother carper today! I can imagine how wet Central Park will be tomorrow.

I advise all you kiddies to be careful and try not to slip. Please be courteous and don't splash on the puddles at other participants or bystanders. And be careful with climbing the rocks if they're not dry yet.

So I'm gonna try heading to NYC tomorrow in the morning, say 11 or so, because the PATH trains take me to Hoboken on Weekends. Who's gonna be in NYC at around 12-ish? I only have enough on my Metro Card to take the PATH Train and back, so I'll be walking to Central Park via Broadway from 33rd St, Manhatten Mall.

Pretty much, man. Manhatten is RIGHT across New Jersey, specifically Edgewaters, Port Imperial - Weehawken, Hoboken, and downtown Jersey City. Right now, I live in Jersey City MAD CLOSE to Hoboken, and I was in Secaucus earlier, where it was raining like Poseidon getting it on. And now I'm back home, and it's STILL raining. Chances are, if it's raining here in this area of NJ, it's going to be raining IN MANHATTEN, NEW YORK CITY.

I'll try and come as early as i can. =) i might not bring my box-o-beyblades.... after last time and my EWD (which i still did not hear any response or good news about) i won't be messing around. when i say that, i won't bring my "mess around" blades so i will be going all out in the free play. =( at least it'll be good practice for me. =D

...So I won't be bringing my baby Storm Aquario. She...went under my bed, and I don't know how to get her out. Thing about my bed, it has a second roll-out bed under, and it went past the bars. I'm gonna have to do my laundry to get it out, and I've been out the majority of the day, and I JUST found out that I lost my baby. I have to get her out before she gets moldy and dirty, but I can't do it right now.

D= Other than that, I am willing to meet anyone before 1:30 at the big globe for Jamba Juice. Please note...I am NOT paying for you, so don't expect me to.

since we got around 30 people or more, i'd say block round robin. but i guess if we get over 35 or 36, we could go double elimination.... but i guess taking in consideration how many people go stamina, we should decide when we see the freeplay.
