I was really just playing around with Spin-Stealers, and I came up with this. Originally, I had chosen AD145, but it was really wobbly, and was too high to make the rubber contact with anything. So I decided to go a bit lower, but made sure it was high enough no to scrape, and low enough not to wobble. I decided on 125 because I honestly think it's the perfect height.
Now, at some points, when 125 is against 230, CH145 is the height to go to, since 125 is too low to make any contact with Duo on 230. You'll see the results when I get to those tests.
P.S.: I don't know the mode L-Drago Destroy is in, but I can show pictures if anyone wants to know.
Also, I only did one CH145 test against a Duo combo, and later today I'll test it against everything, to see what works best. 125 was really a personal preference.
Equipment
LDG: Beylauncher LR w/ Suspension
Everything else: Beylauncher LR w/ Launcher Rubber
- Attack types were always launched after LDG
- Sliding Shoot with all Attack types only
- LDG was always Weak Launched
- All Stamina and Defense types were alternatively launched with LDG
MF-H LDG 125EWD vs. MF-H Flash (Attack Mode) Scorpio S130R2F
LDG: 7 (7 OS)
Flash: 13 (13 KO)
Flash win %: 65%
MF-H LDG 125EWD vs. MF Variares (right spin) R145LRF
LDG: 6 (1 KO, 5 OS)
Variares: 14 (14 KO)
1 draw; redone
Variares win %: 70%
Conclusion
As I expected, it didn't do too well against attack, like any other Spin-Stealer. The wins that it did manage to get were it being saved by the wall, and Flash/Vari did have enough power left.
MF-H LDG 125EWD vs. MF Duo Aquario BD145CS
LDG: 18 (18 OS)
Duo: 2 (1 OS, 1 KO)
1 draw; redone
LDG win %: 90%
Conclusion
Aha! These were the results I was expecting. Duo made a lot of contact with the rubber, which resulted in the outcome. The two times that duo won were from 1.) Duo slamming L-Drago against the wall, which pretty much knocked out all of its spin, and 2.) Duo getting a lucky KO.
MF-H LDG 125EWD vs. Phantom Cygnus AD145WD
LDG: 6 (5 KO, 1 OS)
Phantom: 14 (1 KO, 13 OS)
2 draws; redone
Phantom win %: 70%
Conclusion
I honestly didn't expect this. AD145 stopped Phantom from wobbling, which resulted in those wins. The 6 wins that LDG managed to get were last minute hammers (does that make sense?) which I think were lucky wins.
MF-H LDG 125EWD vs. MF-H Duo Bull 230MB
LDG: 2 (2 OS)
Duo: 18 (18 OS)
Duo win %: 90%
Conclusion
The rubber making contact with 230 didn't help anything, and the underside of Duo is scraping against the top of L-Drago, which kept putting L-Drago off balance. So I decided to test CH145 to see if the height helped anything. (more rubber contact with Duo, etc.)
MF-H LDG CH145EWD vs. MF-H Duo Bull 230MB
LDG: 6 (6 OS)
Duo: 14 (14 OS)
Duo win %: 70%
Conclusion
Much better results, but not much of an improvement. At this point, this is where the ??? come in. If needed could someone do some tests against other tracks to see what works best? High enough not to wobble and make contact, and low enough not to scrape.
This combo is still in the works, according to my testing. It would be appreciated to do test with other combos that you might think improve this.
