Agreed totally! It's been 3 seasons where we had an official battle between them and an official victor. It's like the same deal with Shu and Free a lot of people believe Free is stronger than Shu though I object that certainly, Shu is definetely stronger from what he was. You can't judge someone from how strong/weak they are from one battle. Let's be honest Valt winning the God Blader's Cup was mainly because he wanted to save Shu plus he had more plot armor. Valt always has plot armor since Cho-Z to make him look strong. That's the same thing for Free during God season he had plot armor (still has). I do believe the top 5 legendary bladers are TIED. Valt has never defeated Lui, Aiga in an official battle, Aiga has never defeated Shu in an official battle. Shu has never defeated Free in an official battle. Since a lot of battles between all five of these bladers are needed to happen in order to decide who is the TRULY STRONGEST in this franchise, I don't think there is an official "strongest" blader in burst after Cho-Z. Aiga is stated to be the world champion but his level is still right around anyone in the top 5 being crushed by Lean if they don't have more plot armor than him.

I believe the top 15 legendary bladers are mainly the popularity of these bladers being influencers rather than like official "strongest" Big 5 kind of rankings. That's clearly just me but these rankings are a bit too odd for me. Before I go on a rant I certainly don't find it justified how is Phi in #7? Drum in #6? Zac in #12? Like I understand and am cool with the top 5 bladers but later on is where it gets weird with the rankings.

The anime never followed the 15 legendary blader ranking so all we know is that Valt is stated to be the best Legendary blader and Aiga as the World Champion. Shu mainly does not even blade simply cuz he is more on the mentor side than blading. Free, Lui and rest are just bladers who blade to have fun and act as rivals priorly.

Nah the ranking is fine. The anime was the one that exaggerate on phi power he isnt that op in the Manga ,Even in the anime if he had a second match against shu or free the chance of him Losing is high the main thing with phi is he likes to spam that armor but when that armor isnt in play phi is vulnerable his still stupid strong In the manga but it's not like he can't be surpassed plus drum Is a former main character who was going blow for blow with aiga In gt so it really isn't a problem . And as For zac to be fair we need to remember zac wasnt that weaker to xhaka in S1 in some occation he might have been a bit stronger if he was in season 2 he most likely would a still be in xhaka' s tier and so on. Now For the popularity thing did it play into Hiro ranking yea but its For Every anime the most popular are the apex always have been always will be like that. But that doesnt mean Hiro didnt do the ranking on his personal choice, cause in that poll both wakiya And daina were 4th And 5th but yet their at the bottom of the ranking Rantaro was rank 18 but is lower than xhaka, gwyn, and zac in the the legend rank but are all lower than Rantaro in the popularity poll ken, suoh, Cuza are higher than drum And sisco in the popularity rank but their not even legends fubuki is higher than Rantaro, xhaka gwyn And zac but he aint a legend same with hearts his more popular than phi itself but he aint a legend as well.  What i'm trying to say Hiro guinely put this ranking in his liking of Who are the strongest in burst story. Oh almost forgot boa, ghasem And Kurtz are in the Manga as top a-tier bladers but are not even In the popularity poll so he really choose what he wanted as the best at the end too popularity play a minor part but he still took the time to rank them on his on taste . Man that was a long post sorry about that lol

The 15 legend rankings are not based on popularity or the anime, but rather past events in the manga. For example a lot of people consider Xhaka being ranked higher than Sisco to be odd but this is because Sisco never actually beat Xkaha in the manga and was never actually portrayed to be better than Xhaka as opposed to the anime. It also explains a lot of other things such as Lui being in the top 5 and Rantaro being ranked 15

Yes but what I’m saying is he doesn’t need to outright dominate and be stronger than those bladers. He just needs to win. Also, the wins weren’t flukes but whatever.
They were flukes because mere moments later he bursted one battle after the other. He got a random win. Just goes to show that he isn't nearly on these bladers level. He can't consistently contend with them.

Yeah, Hyuga and Hikaru seriously needs to get much better in a shirt time.
They are growing but these growths were overshadowed by the Sheer Power of the legends.
The introduction of the so much legends actually is the cause which is causing too much unrest among the fans because a rookie defeats one legend and people are debating how come a rookie can do that.
I mean in the previous seasons the protags were fighting with bladers on their level and rising through the ranks while in surge protags have to beat legends to rank up.
This makes protags look very weak.

But at the same time, it would make them look really strong if they won (sometimes too strong), but since their growth was slow at the beginning they should probably get really fast growth after the legend festival.
Well anyways I think Hyuga is going for the finals is not to say that im bias towards hyuga no in fact i want valt to win but valt clearly went to the playing beyblade is fun which makes him more easier to beat bc he doesn't use his full power and for the champ I think its lean bc manga spoiler
Which could happened in the next 3-4 episodes

Lean is winning the festival for sure IMO, the final is either Lean vs Hyuga or Lean vs Valt.
I kinda believe Valt will be the first to burst lean
Tommorow the contestants of the finals of Legend Festival will be known.

Probably not. Aiga couldn’t do it so probably not.

Valt's the Legend of Legends, the strongest legendary blader. If anyone could do it, it would be him. It will probably end up being Shu though.

Yes, but there isn’t an overwhelming gap of power between Aiga, Shu, and Valt.

True, but I think if anyone has a shot at it, it's either Valt or Shu. If anyone has enough power to take Lane down it would be between those two.
Come to think of it.
Lean will win against everyone except shu.
So if lean makes a new bey then why will he challenege those he already defeated with his old bey.
He might not challenge to battle since he disrespect them as well.
I mean Aiga couldn't win but I have this strong feeling Valt can win this against lean. After all, if he can’t win then I believe Shu will take matters into his own hands. Besides, he trained lean. So I wouldn’t know why Shu wouldn’t be able to beat him.

I also believe if Aiga used “Infinite Sword”, he would have a chance to defeat Lean Walhalla.

Nah, the barrier would have just rebounded back and burst Achilles with Variant Wall. That's why the Infinite Attack failed. Also remember that Helios and Achilles combined didn't even case Lean: he was about to blow them away even.

It's literally happened to anyone who tries to power through the barrier, so wearing down Lucifer's stamina was the best thing Aiga could do.
Actually, Aiga’s mistake was when he pushed Lucifer into the pocket. If Lucifer didn’t end up in that pocket Aiga could’ve won without “Infinite Sword” and “Infinite shield”.

Not really because he wore down the barrier a lot and was about to break through it.

Not really. Lean won clearly because of plot armor.
I think Hyuga will win because he and Hikaru are the main characters.

Lean and Hyuga are the most annoying characters in this season. Hikaru totally deserves replacing Hyuga. The whole double protagonist idea is a flop IMO because it just gives one the more attention and the other receives partiality. They should have just kept Hikaru the only character but it is what it is.

From what I see is that Hyuga is the main focus of this season really idk why I just feel like he is going to be the more centric than Hikaru. That's just me.
