SUBWAY FROM MANHATTAN
Take the B or Q train to Kings Highway station. Use the main (Kings Hwy) exit. You will be on Kings Highway, between East 15th and East 16th street. Make a left and walk to the corner, then make another left onto East 15th Street. We are the second building from the corner.
DRIVING IN:
For those driving from Long Island, Staten Island, or New Jersey, take Belt Parkway to the Coney Island Avenue exit. Drive down Coney Island Avenue to Avenue R and make a right. Then make a left onto East 15th Street. Our building is toward the end of the block on your right hand side. To get to Belt Parkway from New Jersey/Staten Island, cross the Verrazzano Bridge.
PARKING:
Kings Highway is a very popular shopping area, with parking always somewhat of an issue. There is a parking garage between East 13 and East 14th Streets, between Kings Hwy and Avenue R (1-2 minute walk from the store). Metered parking (1 hour limit) is available in front of the store and on Kings Hwy. If you are willing to walk 1-2 blocks, you should be able to find meter-free parking on
ALL PLAYERS MUST ARRIVE ON TIME: If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.
If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.
This will be a burst format tournament! Please look over the current parts restrictions list to make sure all parts are legal.

does the person i'm taking to the tournament need a passport as well?
Pretty sure I can make it (fingers crossed I can figure out this 'public transit' thing in time lol)
If anyone will be selling Seig Xcalibur, Hunter Driver, or Burst Beylauncher L/R I'm interested in buying them. If no one is selling the launcher I'll need to borrow someone's left spin String Launcher.

Nope! And @[Sniper], spectators don't need to pay the entry fee for Kings Games, right?

Awesome!
No guarantees yet, but I will probably have Sieg Xcalibur and also full sets of BG-07 available, as well as anything on my list right now (although I will only be bringing what people ask me to bring). Prices in Canadian dollars, but obviously I will accept whatever the conversion is in USD.
Is a takara tomy sword launcher allowed?

As Basalt Fox said, it is indeed allowed. If you haven't attended a WBO tournament before, you should take some time to read through our rulebook for Burst Format: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kg58...sp=sharing
I'm pretty sure i can make it
You guys are going down
But... you might win
Because this is my first tournament

i read the rules for the burst format and when they say switch beyblades do they mean switch each others beys or with a new selection

In the first stage of our events you can only choose one Beyblade for each of your matches; this means if we play each other you can pick one Beyblade, but then if you play Sniper you can pick another one if you'd like.
For the finals we use a different format called "Deck Format" where you choose a deck of up to three different Beyblades. The rules for that are explained within the rulebook, but in those battles you are permitted to change your Beyblade for another in your deck under certain conditions. But again, Deck Format is only for the finals.
@[Wombat] u gonna be selling anything?
