It is Cold in Space
Silver Spring, Maryland Zero-G Format Unranked
Martin Luther King Jr Park
1120 Jackson Rd, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904
We will meet under the large pavillion next to the playground, behind the basketball courts. And if that's full we'll probably play ON the basketball courts, but we're going to try and avoid that.

12:00 PM on 11/19/2022
Format: The format for this event is Zero-G, which is Metal Fight Beyblade format. The only banned MFB parts are F230 combined with GC or GCF. Please read the rulebook prior to confirming your attendance to ensure that you or your child have the appropriate equipment to compete. Legal parts / launchers will not be lent out by event staff.
We will be using 3v3 format. We will be using the MFB Zero-G Attack Beystadium with 3 pockets.
I have set it to be unranked. Zero-G is kind of a chaotic format and I don't want people to stress out over rank points. Just have fun, you know?
Host: Deceased Crab
Location: This event will be held outdoors at MLK Jr. Recreational Park.
Time: As the tournament will start promptly at 12:00pm, please plan to arrive around 11:30am when registration will begin. Registration will close at 11:50pm. Confirming your attendance on the WBO event page does not substitute for registration at the venue.
Other Information:
Please come prepared. It is helpful for both hosts and judges if all participants bring at least one Takara Tomy or Hasbro-manufactured Beyblade of their own and more than one launcher when possible. Additionally, parents of children under the age of 13 must be present for the duration of the event, as tournament end times can be difficult to estimate, and we would hate for someone to be left behind once it is over.
Be aware of your belongings. We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!
All players must arrive on-time. The tournament will begin no later than 12:00 PM and is expected to run for 3-4 hours, though if there is a large turnout it may take longer. Please plan accordingly. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.
If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

Yay Zero-G!
Yes let’s go!!
I was going to have this be entirely in Attack beystadium, but it IS unranked, and Yami and TSO do have defense and balance beystadiums. I think perhaps we will, unless anyone has strong objections, use ranked choice voting to decide the beystadium.
My idea for that:
The bladers will whisper to the judge what they want their first and second pick of beystadium to be. The first pick gets two points, the second pick gets 1 point. Whichever beystadium has the highest score is the one they will use for the match. If there's a tie, we can either coinflip or pick the stadium nobody wants, blader's choice.
If one blader doesn't care which beystadium is used, the other blader picks.
If neither care, the judge will decide randomly based on what's available.

Love this idea! No better time to test the defense and balance stadiums than an unranked event
So all parts except for f 230 Gear Circle flat and circle flat are allowed

Only GCF/CF on F230. I could use 105 GCF or F230 D.

Ok thank you
Hey bladers, dress warm for this tournament! It got real cold over the past few days and according to the forecast we're going to have a high of around 42 degrees on Saturday??? It is cold in space but it is also cold in November outside. Hopefully we don't get much wind.
I’ve never battled In a 0G Stadium lol
They are so expensive and I already spent a lot on my BB10.

I ordered a bandit golem and a pirate Orochi for the tournament
Well gosh everyone, looks like we're gonna wind up with a single group round robin. I'm going to be so cold and tired by the time this ends. Can't wait, caaaaan't wait!
I am here and no one else is. It is so very cold. The wind is significant enough that we're going to have some trouble today.
