BURST CLASSIC FORMAT – PARTS BAN LIST IN EFFECT

In Burst Classic Format, there are some part restrictions in effect that all players must be aware of. This format is ongoing and the list may change before the event date. You can view the most up to date list below:

Join us on Saturday, March 30th, 2019 for a Toronto Beyblade Burst Tournament at High Park for Toronto’s first tournament using the WBO’s new experimental Burst Classic Format!

Please be sure to arrive ON TIME for this tournament. Registration begins at 11:00AM. We will finish registration at around 12:00PM and will begin the tournament shortly thereafter. Thank you!

If you can make it, please hit the blue JOIN TOURNAMENT button at the top of this page! See you all there!

Location
We'll be playing outside within the covered east veranda shelter at the High Park Nature Centre (Google Maps will show you where it is). The east veranda is the side without the accessibility ramp. If you're coming to High Park via the Bloor St W entrance, just follow that road down on the right side and you'll see the large building/shelter on the left hand side before you reach the tennis courts. If you have any questions about the location, please post here!

Here are some pictures showing the route you should take to arrive at the tournament location if you are entering the park from the Bloor St W. entrance.

Tournament Bracket on Challonge

As always, during the tournament while we cannot give you a set time for when your next match will take place, you are welcome to follow along with the tournament bracket on Challonge. Challonge is the management tool we use to run the event.

No Bey? No Prob!
Don't have any Beyblades from this new series? No problem! We would be happy to lend a Beyblade and launcher to you to use for your tournament matches!

Have a BeyStadium? Bring it!
We will be bringing stadiums for this event, but more are always welcome! Any BeyStadium is fine for free play, but BeyStadium Standard Types (pictured below) are particularly appreciated. If you can bring one, please post here to let us know.

I’m sure you can borrow some parts if you don’t have any!
Im sad because I want to buy the new gachi beys and play in the classic tournament, but I won't be able to make this one unfortunately. Also if you want to play classic, wolborg on Et is a very solid choice.

Kei, do you know an affordable classic combo for under $30?

I think OldSchool might have some of the red gK.H.R which would probably be pretty good stock for Burst Classic. Not sure exactly how much it costs though.

I also have a bunch of purple Dragoon F for sale ($7) which is one of the only left-spin Layers for Classic, so you could probably make a decent combo with that as well.
How much is choz valkrie or Achilles
@[Kei] is that Dragoon Fighter or Dragoon Fantom?

If it's Fantom, just as a heads up, $7 for Dragoon Fantom is an incredible deal. It's an incredibly good layer in classic format and you can't get it for less than $20 on Ebay. Do not hesitate, buy it. I imagine Kei won't ship to MD or I'd get one myself. Smile

Which is why I figure he probably means Fighter.
