Tournament name credit: Angry Face

Host: The Supreme One

LocationThis event will be held outdoors at the Short Pump Park. We will be setting up in the shelter by the dog park and splash fountains. You can view a more detailed map of the location here. Tournament location is subject to change - we are looking into indoor venues!

Time: As the tournament will start promptly at 12:00pm, please plan to arrive around 11:30am when registration will begin. Registration will close five minutes before 12:00pm, at which point players who have not registered will be unable to play. Confirming your attendance on the WBO event page does not substitute for registration at the venue.

Prizes:
TBA

Other Information:
Please come prepared. It is helpful for both hosts and judges if all participants bring at least one Takara Tomy or Hasbro-manufactured Beyblade of their own and more than one launcher when possible. Additionally, parents of children under the age of 13 must be present for the duration of the event, as tournament end times can be difficult to estimate, and we would hate for someone to be left behind once it is over.

Be aware of your belongings. We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All players must arrive on-time. The tournament will begin no later than 12:00 PM and is expected to run for about 3 hours, though if there is a large turnout it may take longer. Please plan accordingly. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

Nice! I would have also picked RBV13!
Hey everybody! I lost the following parts at today's tournament and was hoping someone may have accidentally picked them up. They were:
  • A white Lost Longinus with red stickers;
  • 0 Disk with 4 stars and one yellow star sticker underneath;
  • Wall Frame with one yellow star sticker underneath;
  • Dark blue Reboot Driver;
  • and a worn/slightly rounded Zenith, aka the Disk that comes with Cho-Z Valkyrie.

If anybody happens to find parts that match these descriptions mixed in with their belongings, please let me know so we can work something out!

Btw, some other parts and launchers were found after the tournament, so if you're missing some of your things as well, post a description of them here!
Thanks for coming out today everyone! This was our first outdoor tournament since November and we definitely lucked out with the weather Smile It was great to see so many familiar faces and meet a few new ones Smile

As CheetoBlader mentioned, our placers (all RVA tournament regulars) were:
1st - HyperBey123
2nd - The Supreme One
3rd - jackpotgodzilla
4th - clfjmpr

Perfect Phoenix really dominated today, and ChoZ Achilles Ds' proved to be a surprisingly reliable favorite, with SupremeBlader, SoulBurner, HyperBey123, jackpotgodzilla, and a few others pulling it out for a win. Stay tuned for winning combos!
This was once again very fun. Thank you to The Supreme One and all of the other judges, friends and organizers that helped. It was nice to seem some old faces back in RVA and also some new ones. My mom even joined and competed in this one.

My left Bey launcher was left there and I know Airnightmare is holding onto it. Thank you for that!

See you again next month.
