Hasbro Beyblade Burst - Upcoming Release & Rumor Thread

That would be better than some stupid Slingshock-Hypersphere-HyperBlades combo that would be the bane of my very existence.
I wonder what the new stadium will be without any gimmicks. The eveloution series still had different stadiums than TT even though there were no gimmicks
They might just make them all nL, and remove most driver gimmicks. Most metal might be removed, too.

Not stonks
I don’t expect anyone who knows something about previous generations would buy them.
nL does seem like the best option though if they want to nerf everything.
When will the beys even come out? They haven’t made the yet?

I can only imagine it will be a very long time. We’re still in the early stages of the Rise anime here in the US so there is no way they release anything Sparking until it’s done. I mean, TT GT releases were almost done before we even got the first Hasbro Rise release. So that should give you an idea of the type of timeline we’re looking at.

Hypersphere that also becomes slingshock

beys usually hit the stores in US about December and that was the case for Evolution, Turbo and i think Rise
so we are looking at maybe mid December to very early January
I still hold out hope that Hasbro decides (God forbid) that they actually need to make good products for once. Whether that means they get close to TT's design or find their own way to offer a quality product idc.
Obviously, the reality will be that they will try to make something that looks similar as cheaply as possible.

Yeah I can tell you from experience toy production takes at least 1 year and if you see a prototype at a public show or an announcement its still like 5-6 months

Agree.  I won't knock the team that tries to make the budget work to get products out there, but there are clearly budget constraints.  No other explanation for why Hasbro needed to make a cool, unique product they licensed and could use directly, less cool and unique.

I feel Hasbro changing core gameplay with every stadium format so their own beys aren't competitive will back them into a corner.  With the addition of a different spring, TT has kept old product valid for years in a carefully kept meta which adds to the coolest aspect of Beys in the first place - discovering competitive builds, then countering them.

In the realm of possibility, I hope Hasbro makes large, 'neutral' stadiums (ie, not build to highlight a gameplay gimmick) that all bey's can compete well on without some specific advantage.

Edit: got a bit sidetracked, sorry. As for Sparking? It seems the pattern would indicate less costly bey level gimmicks, less metal and a new name for a new gameplay format. I'd go out on a limb to say they'll have it easier with Sparking since they don't have to produce the metal layer weights, but what they did with forge discs in GT doesn't bode well for the chassis. One can hope for real chassis we could interchange.
Seeing that Hasbro tried their best to make a core disk counterpart to the GT disks, they could modify the double chassis to have a frame.
Did a little searching, and I came across a listing for a new Rise battle set called:
BEY HS INFINITY BRINK BATTLE SET
This just sort of came out of nowhere, and I'm wondering why it wasn't listed in the document released by Hasbro for the future releases Vortex Climb and Apocalypse Blade sets. I think this'll be something like what the Snake Pit Battle Set was for Evolution,  but I'm hoping to see Prime Apocalypse or Royal Genesis with the Big Bang armor in this set (although I think it'll just be random combos). On terms for the stadium, it might just be a circular stadium, or maybe the Brink makes the infinity symbol (,) and has like two craters in where the holes would be in the symbol (the stadium and the beys are just speculation, nothing confirmed about them). It's $30 USD from Walmart.

Other info on the listings, New Diabolos appears again and prices from Walmart.

The idea I had was new Diabolos, is either - Master (right?/left?) or just some recolor, obviously too it won't have the name diabolos it'll change later on when the listing updates.

Price just seems it'll be like the Snake Pit having a small hypersphere stadium
If they actually makes the launchers exactly like TT does, I win be really surprised

I don’t think that will happen, but what if every Bey was just rip fire?
It would stay somewhat true to the original Sparking thing.

if hasbro did that, price would go up, not to mention, they might ditch the LR functionality in every booster package.
When sparking comes around for hasbro, I hope they don’t have the stupid drivers hypersphere has. How hard is it to make a spiral’ or bullet hasbro.

Ok I didn’t mean to quote that account but still
Hasbro is a BLADER?

Anyway, I hope these berries are ACTUALLY BETTER THAN TURBO UNLIKE HYPERSPHERE
I did a little digging in a German website, and found what I think are either Wave 3 or Wave 4 singles and the full names of the Kerbeus and Cyclops dual pack.  The news is as follows:
BEY HS INFERNO SALAMANDER S5
BEY HS TYPHON T5
BEY HS SHIELD KERBEUS BEHEMOTH CYCLOPS
Typhon T5 is probably just a re-release of the layer with some random parts, so nothing too special there unless it looks like a really good recolor.  Inferno Salamander S5 might just be Hasbro's release of Tact (because of the confusing name changes and everything, it's possible) or it's own exclusive layer, although I won't be expecting a gimmick.  I'm really excited for this one, although it probably won't have any gimmicks.  Maybe Hasbro saw everyone who made their own custom Salamander chips and made their own Salamander because of it.  This isn't a re-release though because of the Inferno part, otherwise it would've been only Salamander S5.  Shield Kerbeus and Behemoth Cyclops are also very interesting because this'll be the first dual pack with 2 GT layers.  Hasbro's making their own Kerbeus evolution is just great, and a Kerbeus chip along with an exclusive base is a great job by Hasbro.  Behemoth Cyclops makes me wonder why Hasbro changed Beast Behemoth to Beast Betromoth, but I hope the bey looks nice and has decent parts.

To see the product names from the sources, you have to look at the source code and the name should be right near the top.
I'm not holding my breath that Inferno Salamander S5 will be Tact. I'm assuming it'll be a fire-based re-colour of Salmander because Hasbro. Same for Typhon, which could follow the trend of Sphinx and be an upgrade, but naaaaaah.

Cyclops is likely the upgrade and Kerbeus is just a re-colour. It's EXTREMELY unlikely that Hasbro is doing their own GT Kerbeus.

I'm only expecting Cyclops to get a GT chip and the rest to get nice-ish recolours with Hypersphere tips. If I'm wrong, wonderful, but I'm likely correct.

They would have started doing that at the beginning of the series then. Since they did not, the ones that have a first name are basically confirmed to not be recolors.

Then why is it called Shield Kerbeus K5, and not Hazard Kerbeus K5 or just Kerbeus K5? Typhon isn't an evolution because it doesn't have a pre-name like Salamander or Kerbeus, or Cyclops
