The 1st one is better because Reverser Defender is a Survival Type CWD, I dont own it but I looked at the Competitive Combos. Th!nk can probably explain why. Also, the other parts like Wolf Crusher and Bearing Core are Top Tier for Stamina.

Not necessarily.

CWD God Ring is incredibly versatile and not to be underestimated (not to mention extremely rare). God Ring also provides some added defense to a combination. It's similar to how CWD Defense Ring can be placed on a Bearing Core survival combo.

CWD Reverse Defenser does give some spin-stealing qualities that are viable and add extra survival ability to the bey (namely in the last few rotations of a spin-stealing battle), but both have their uses. It depends on what you're facing, and what quality you think you'll need more: do you want more spin-stealing capabilities or some extra defense against a more aggressive bey?

None of those would sell for $50 because they are neither popular beyblades or really popular colors. $30 is probably closer to their worth.

As for the CWD God Ring Vs CWD Reverse Defenser thing, I don't own God Ring so I can't personally vouch for its LAD in comparison, and that would really be the deciding factor. It would probably be a little better, though. On Bearing Core, don't know if any defensive difference would really matter but God Ring's supposed extra weight (if anyone has one and a good set of scales that can be properly calibrated, I'd really appreciate weights) might help. CWD Reverse Defenser is definitely viable for defense in its own right, though - it's free spinning and low recoil so it works fine - so as I said, not a huge difference.

There were sonokong ones available in sets with two common beyblades that are perfectly comfortable, though I don't know if they still are, those were on ebay. I don't really know why you're asking for sites though, it's not like there are any hidden treasure troves of HMS stuff at this point... Ebay and the WBO are the main places, and Yahoo! Japan Auctions (with a middleman), Plamoya.com and Amazon can occasionally have some decent stuff.

Honestly though, I don't know why you'd really bother with a grip, yes the launchers aren't the biggest but I don't exactly have small hands and I manage perfectly well, and get better control when I don't use a grip.

Also, they're really not as rare as you're making them out to be, Shining God MS...

Getting most things from HMS/plastics is a matter of waiting and spotting it before other people, and seeing as I've seen a few HMS grips this year (mostly on the WBO), without specifically looking for them, I suspect you just haven't been proactive enough in your search.

I don't own Reverse Defenser, but I think Ga'Hooleone got it right: Reverse Defenser seems like it would provide more Stamina (although, by how much over God Ring, I don't know), while God Ring provides more Defense.

I'll weigh my God Ring later today.

I don't know man, I think the HMS Customize Grip is pretty awesome. There's no other grip and shooter combination that feels as good as a HMS Customize Grip + Dual Shooter. So smooth.

I really wonder how much of an effect a CWD could have on stamina, especially when they're pretty similar in terms of distribution and properties, from what I've seen of God Ring anyway. LAD would probably be more significant, seeing as opposite-spin zombie battles seem to be more uniform to me. While reverse defenser's wings don't touch the stadium floor much during the LAD phase, they do still touch it a little, so I wonder whether god ring would not work slightly better (and small improvements on LAD seem to have a pretty big difference in the matches I've done).

I don't have the regular customize grip, just the sonokong one and the Round Shell grip attachment (which can be used with it), so I can't really say whether it would be different to every other grip I've tried to beyblade with. I've always preferred controllability over almost everything else, however, given my playstyle, so perhaps I am not considering what others might like.

Honestly Dragoon MF as a whole is one entire "ooh interesting but not incredible" beyblade. Metal Weight Grip Core offers more controllability but lacks the raw power of Grip Flat and GFCUV. The AR is pretty eh (it's Bloody Devil V2) and the better of the 2 CWDs, Eternal Survivor, is outclassed by Reverse Defenser, Free Survivor, and Circle Wide (to name a few) for Survival.

On ebay or amazon? Driger, Draciel, Gaia Dragoon MS and the occassional Dranzer MS are pretty much it aside from used at any reasonable price.

HMS is an expensive game, unless you're both patient and very, very lucky. For most, it's a matter of having a lot of expendable income. Best competitive meta of the entire beyblade series though.

Driger MS is the best performing of those from what I've tried but its parts aren't all that useful, Draciel MS has a useful weight disk if you get serious about HMS, and Dranzer MS has a cool RC which is fun to play around with, and it is actually gimmicked unlike the others, but some small use for the RC in force smash (where I'd suggest Metal Semi Flat instead) means there's something to it. I like gimmicks in HMS so I'd go with Dranzer MS.

It's kinda hard to get a cheap hms beyblade with a non-broken ripcord these days though. Some sellers at least throw in tt hongli copy ripcords (the teeth of which break easy and therefore skip really easy - so if you get one, first priority is to whip out the WD40/other good lubricant and lubricate the launcher and ripcord.)

Right now, the best things to get are Jiraiya, Round Shell and Dranzer (not as important as the first two).

The first two gives you gimmicks, very competitive parts, a specialized grip that can be combined with other grips and a mint Takara ripcord that doesn't break immediately. Dranzer because we don't know when there won't be any left.

The common 3 are gr8 and all, with th!nk stating those reasons, but otherwise you'd want to pick up these beys to get a head start in the meta.

Everything I mentioned is on eBay, though the cheaper Dranzers (42 USD iirc) are SonoKong and not Takara if boxes matter to you.
