SATURDAY, APRIL 5 2014
Ah-Nab Awen Park - Grand Rapids, MI, USA
LIMITED FORMAT

Registration - 11:30-12PM
Start Time - 12PM

The road to the Grand Battle begins! Michigan Bladers, this is your chance to earn paid travel expenses (if necessary) to ANIME NORTH, along with an AN Pass to play in the WBO North American Championship, GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2!!

Mandatory $5 Entry Fee = More Qualifiers + Extra Credits + Free Face Booster!
To help subsidize the high cost of flying/busing the qualifiers to Toronto, a mandatory $5 entry fee will be imposed on all Qualifier Series tournaments, regardless of whether or not a participant has a Blader Passport (if you wish to purchase a Blader Passport, the total cost would be $15 at a Qualifier Series tournament), and there will be no prize reimbursement apart from the travel expenses for the winner. We hope that everyone can understand this! The more funds we have, the bigger this championship will be! However, to show our appreciation for your cooperation and support in helping to fund the championship, all participants in Qualifier Series tournaments will receive the following:

What can I win?
The winner of this qualifier will receive the following:
  • Paid travel expenses, by plane/bus/public transit (if necessary, and whichever is cheapest) to ANIME NORTH 2014 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2.
  • An ANIME NORTH 2014 Pass
Qualifiers will be responsible for finding/paying for accommodations in Toronto, but we will work closely with each of you to make sure that you find somewhere suitable. Additionally, the winner will be required to consult with the Committee before booking their flight/bus, and then after approval, provide a booking confirmation to the WBO Committee before they can provide reimbursement for the traveling costs. We can also reimburse gas costs, but in that case, reimbursement will only take place in person after we have received gas receipts.

Yes, yes it is.
Nooooooooooooooo! Jk but noooo!

Will the tournament in Canada be limited to?
Had nothing to do with it. Its a WBO GBT2 event. Though I do plan on talking to Kei and Kai-V about being allowed to host a standard format along with this.
But Limited will be first and the main event. It'll be worth a little research into limited it can be fun.
Ugh I hate the limited format! But I'll still play Tongue_out
put me and death man on the possibility list
Rage if you look at the their list I think youd be surprised messing around w combos. My launch was way screwed up w launching on to a table and the stadiums sliding around like they did. This will be w my standard tournament setup. Stadiums will be Velcrod to the custom tables about 6 inches off the ground and we'll be kneeling on the ground.
Ill be there Coach haha so will Fang, u know we couldnt miss this!
My dad said we can go. Time to beat Yuko and Fang for the qualifier. I love Limited Format Grin
I can't believe so many of you hate LTD Gasp!

Anyways, I'm a slim maybe.
You can put me down as coming coach
I might go
Anyone have a Seaborg Base or Wolborg 4 Base I could buy off you guys?
I cant sell thoes parts because I need them for combos. If I come across another one I'll pm you
So no Synchroms or 4D wheels? UGH. Just Kidding Wink
I'm from Ohio and haven't been to any tournaments yet.
I've been wanting to have one in Ohio but, you know... Nevermind
Anyway, my dad says he will probably take me to one of these (most likely this one), so you can put BahamdiaWyvang on the POSSIBLE list. I will also be getting a blader passport if I go.
I've never done a Limited Format tourney before, but it'll be fun. I'll be trying to make the best combo possible (probably a Stamina. My Favorite type...)!
I'll let you know when/if it changes from Possibly to ABSOLUTELY!
It's a 6-hour drive and 4 days before my 8th Grade DC trip!

Thanks,
BahamdiaWyvang

(P.S. please PM me about the details for the trip to Canada, etc. Thanks Again Smile )

What can I say, hah. Just make it to this event and place! Smile

Good luck everyone!
Oh, and is there a limit to how many beys I bring? Also, would I get my Blader Passport at the tournament?

Thanks,
BahamdiaWyvang

Nope! I've seen your collection, you could bring all of them if you want! XD

If you want a blader passport it would cost $15 in total.
There is no limit in the amount of beys you can bring. Trust me if there was a few of us might be in trouble at times lol... 200+ I'm sure...
Yes you can get your blader passport at the tournament, or you can order it off of here as I'll only accept cash of course, and the less the better in my opinion seeing that I'll already be accepting the manditory $5 entry fee for this event.
I'm a maybe! I would love to be in my first tournament, but since I'm in Iowa and still in school around that time, it may be difficult for me to make it up there. I'll see if I can come up with anything though!
Round Shell will not be coming.
Im in! My first tournament!
I'll be a maybe for this one Coach. Hope I can attend
You can put me on the confirmed list. I'm really excited about my first tournament!
