Host: The Supreme One

LocationThis event will be held outdoors at the Short Pump Park. We will be setting up in the shelter by the dog park and splash fountains. You can view a more detailed map of the location here.

Time: As the tournament will start promptly at 12:00pm, please plan to arrive around 11:30am when registration will begin. Registration will close five minutes before 12:00pm, at which point players who have not registered will be unable to play. Confirming your attendance on the WBO event page does not substitute for registration at the venue.

Prizes:
Ace Dracon.St.Ch Zan
Bushin Ashura.Hr.Kp Ten
Slash Valkyrie.Bl.Pw Retsu

Other Information:
Please come prepared. It is helpful for both hosts and judges if all participants bring at least one Takara Tomy or Hasbro-manufactured Beyblade of their own and more than one launcher when possible. Additionally, parents of children under the age of 13 must be present for the duration of the event, as tournament end times can be difficult to estimate, and we would hate for someone to be left behind once it is over.

Be aware of your belongings. We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All players must arrive on-time. The tournament will begin no later than 12:00 PM and is expected to run for about 3 hours, though if there is a large turnout it may take longer. Please plan accordingly. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

Need-to-Know Information

1. During Registration, Open Your Account Page

Open your account page on your mobile device (if possible) during registration to help us keep things quick.

2. Arrive On Time

You must arrive by the tournament start time to enter. We cannot add new players to an event once it begins. If you're running late, contact the host.

3. Stay Aware of Your Belongings

We do everything possible to ensure a safe environment, but can't be held responsible for lost or stolen goods. Keep your gear close by!

4. The Tournament Will Last At Least a Few Hours

This event is likely to last at least a few hours. If you can't commit to the entire tournament, you're welcome to come watch and play for fun instead!

5. Listen For Your Username To Be Called

Your name will be called when it's time for your next battle. If you need to leave early or take a break, tell a judge. Missing a match could mean disqualification!

This event will happen rain or shine! We'll be holding the tournament under a pretty large shelter, but the forecast is looking sunny so rain shouldn't be a problem.

I remember at a tournament last year it rained at The end if the tournament and you said “looks like my hosting skills kept the rain off”
Would anyone attending the tournament be willing to trade a TT Orbit? I have a variety of tips of both Hasbro and TT I'd be willing to trade for it.

And Down. I'd love to get my hands on a Down forge disc. And I have plenty of discs to trade.
@[HyperBey123] looking forward to seeing you there! Smile
@[BeybladeBlast11] We've had really great weather at all of our tournaments at the park since September - hopefully my lucky hosting streak will continue Wink
HOPE I CAN COME!!!

Also will you sell stuff their? And can I sell stuff their?

Angry Face will be selling!
NICE! 25 Bladers registered... even though a lot of them won’t come😑
How many bladers out of the 30 do you think will come?
Bad news for today, WBO's Certs are invalid again, so a lot of bladers are going to have trouble logging into their accounts through Chrome to prove who they are. Also the site is running sort of badly it seems.
Supreme one can we use Takara Tomy beyblades because I am confused

Thanks again for running the tournament! And thank you for letting me judge. Thanks to Angry Face for putting up with me looming over his judging basically the whole time! It was a lot of fun.

Fear Perfect Phoenix! Fear Crush Ragnaruk! They will unmake your bey!
Amazing tournament thanks once again tso even tho my eternal was stolen and phone cracked (sadly) I had a blast
Hey now, I thought we were going to ask them about that here, I'm sure they didn't mean to walk away with your Eternal.

@[P0k3Pr0_PlaYz] sorry you had to leave the tournament early. Did you borrow BeybladeBlast11's Eternal? If so, I think they'd like it back. Smile

Also, thanks to the people who traded me those parts. If you want to trade back at a future tournament or event, let me know. I hope you enjoy those frames/discs.

Considering the organizer and some of the judges are leaving the region because their college semester is done, I wouldn't expect a return of central VA tournaments for a while unless someone else takes up the mantle.

I might try to become an organizer for Central MD/DC Area tournaments again, but first I need my family to be in less dire medical situations; it really wouldn't do for me a set up a tournament and then have to bail on it because a family member just had a medical emergency.

So as for right now, no one will host tournaments in VA?
