Host: The Supreme One

LocationThis event will be held outdoors at the Short Pump Park. We will be setting up in the shelter by the dog park and splash fountains. You can view a more detailed map of the location here.

Time: As the tournament will start promptly at 12:00pm, please plan to arrive around 11:30am when registration will begin. Registration will close five minutes before 12:00pm, at which point players who have not registered will be unable to play. Confirming your attendance on the WBO event page does not substitute for registration at the venue.

Prizes:
Ace Dracon.St.Ch Zan
Bushin Ashura.Hr.Kp Ten
Slash Valkyrie.Bl.Pw Retsu

Other Information:
Please come prepared. It is helpful for both hosts and judges if all participants bring at least one Takara Tomy or Hasbro-manufactured Beyblade of their own and more than one launcher when possible. Additionally, parents of children under the age of 13 must be present for the duration of the event, as tournament end times can be difficult to estimate, and we would hate for someone to be left behind once it is over.

Be aware of your belongings. We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All players must arrive on-time. The tournament will begin no later than 12:00 PM and is expected to run for about 3 hours, though if there is a large turnout it may take longer. Please plan accordingly. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

My friend is coming so make it 10 but at least we will have fun

Just read rule book is this a hasbro only tournament
This is not a Hasbro only tournament. If it was it would have been marked as such. It's Burst Standard.

No, it is not Hasbro only. it would be labeled if so. Its takara tomy and Hasbro.

It's standard format! Everything is allowed.

I mean, you read it, but you didn't understand it correctly. Sorry, but you're wrong. Please listen to what we're telling you.

This is a Burst Standard format tournament. TT Layers and Tips are legal, when used with each other. Hasbro Layers and Tips are legal, when used with each other.
What are the prizes if you win?

EDIT: Angry Face is coming?! He hosted the first tournament I went to. Thought he went to collage.

Ok but can at least someone fix the rule book that completely threw me off (there goes my money in some hasbro)
Can you point out the spot in the rulebook that made you think that all Takara Tomy Tips and Layers were banned? Because they can't fix what they can't see.

I know where he read it. he read it in the Hasbro only part of the rule book

it says that all T T beys are illegal
I see. You mean the stuff written in the following section marked "Hasbro Only Format" which reads
"In this variant of Burst Format, the following equipment is legal for use:

✓ Legal:
Hasbro Energy Layers & Performance Tips
Both TAKARA-TOMY & Hasbro Launchers/Grips
Both TAKARA-TOMY Disks (that have been released by Hasbro) & Hasbro Forge Disks
TAKARA-TOMY Standard Type BeyStadium
✗ Illegal:
TAKARA-TOMY Layers & Drivers"

There is no way to make it any more clear that this is a specific variant that is not always applied during Standard tournaments. They will have to learn to interpret this correctly.
Will this event happen rain or shine? We would be driving 6 hours to attend this and want to make sure it’s going to happen. Thank you!
We're still 6 days away so it's hard to know for sure what the weather will be, but right now the 10 day forecast is calling for some sunshine.

I've looked at the satellite map of the park, and it appears the shelter should block out most rain, if not wind.

This event will happen rain or shine! We'll be holding the tournament under a pretty large shelter, but the forecast is looking sunny so rain shouldn't be a problem.
