The City's Divine Bloody Battles Part 2: The Epic ShowDown

These shall be the second most Divine, Bloody Battles this city has ever seen!! AGAIN!! This will be the return of some old champions and of course some new, but in the end, we're champions (even newbies)! Any blader who thinks he/she has what it takes to participate and win the tournament shall be allowed to enter.

I'm going to try to have a side tourney at the end of the main tourney. It costs $3 to enter. If you enter you get a free entry into the bey raffle. This will be a single elimination side tourney. First and second places gets to choose between a Limited Edition Takara Tomy Fang Leone Black Version and a Grand Cetus. Pm

Only Takara Tomy, SonoKong, and Hasbro brand beyblades are allowed. Beyblades will be checked before hand. Any blader caught bringing in any other brand name beyblade besides the ones above, will be asked to switch with one that is llegal otherwise he/she will disqualified.

The stadiums being used for the tournament will be the Attack Type Stadium. From time to time, I may also have the new ZeroG Attack Type Stadium out as well.

I'm looking for experienced judges who had judged at an official WBO tournament. I'm also looking for two extra people to help co-host. Plus if you have an attack stadium please bring one. The help and stadiums will be greatly appreciated.

When I say older members, I include people 11 and above because I'm judging by the tournament's turnout haha. There were few members above 13 and many of the original people who showed up were younger members.

Speaking of younger members, we also had a kid join today during the tournament who had been browsing with his Dad since April. They seemed like nice people, and the dad got some pictures too.
How many people came ? How many of the confirmed participants ?
I asked Divine. Around 33 or 32 I believe.
awsome time, had lots of fun, congrats sniper on the win in 1st place, although the tourney was somewhat disorganized,i still had fun. Kai-V how do i become an official judge because i would like to be a judge for tourneys.
Can i be a judge? (I've judged many times before)
The tourneys over. If you just want a judge face, thats off topic
congrats to all winners
so mad i couldnt participate
i thought it was 2day Unhappy
Sorry for a lot of confusion guys. i just trying to make it a lot better than the one I had back in May, which it was in my opinion. And for those of you who thought it was disorganized, try hosting a tourney with 32 people then you'll really get to see how tough it was especially for me since it had to be 90 degrees outside and I had to deal with a million questions. This was a lot tougher than it looks. Plus with Challonge moving slow, it had backed things up.

Congrates especially to-

Great job to my MAIN judges (Those who judged for most of the tourney)-

Winning combos guys?
Lesson learned from this and my tournament: Challonge sucks.

but still, great tourney.
Were prizes given out
I failed bad, mainly because I faced 15 and ups, or my L hasbro laucher did not work. I am checking(accually, spying) on BBG for combinations xD
And Kav-V, send me pms on the beys I should get.
I am going to make an oath: Next tournament, I will not let most of you beat me.
Dude you faced me I am 14Tired and I won plus you need a string launcher to power your launch a bit more

Challonge sucks? I use it for all my tournaments. Once the Round Robin is over then i make a bracket in Office. Then submit everything afterwards. Challonge is one of the best sites out there. Unless you have access to mantis or something.

Age really doesn't make much of a difference when battling someone. Im 23 and Ive lost to 14-15 year olds before. Its just about trying to improve your skill and learning from your loss. Take what you've learned at this tournament and improve on it.
ATTENTION BLADERS!! laidbackblader and I are trying to host a tournament in Fishkill NY. We need confirmed participants. If anybody is interested, PM me.

Challonge does not suck. If your internet connection is slow (like because you are using a tethered 3G connection in the middle of a highly trafficked park in the middle of one of the world's most populous cities...) then every site you use is going to feel slow.

You can't make NYC any smaller, but try to use a 4G/LTE connection if possible, and a direct device connection is usually faster than tethering to a mobile hot spot or phone. Tethering introduces lots of connection errors at the device level that can mess things up even if the mobile connection speed is fast.
great tournament
sad i lost but i will do better next time
If anyone in the nj or ny area is selling a light launcher 2
pm me about it
I can't wait for the next tourney. Hopefully I can try to host another one in a more shaded or much less populated area.
Are you coming to [ Pyro ]'s tournament.
When will credits be distributed

As you can see from the Beypoint Queue topic, there are problems with the results.
