1. World Building- We actually got to explore the places that the Bladebreakers visited. Especially in S1 where we constantly had side characters and a tournament arc in each major part of the world, with most of them also tying to the backstory of the main characters. Things like the Legend of the White Tiger in the China tournament & the creation of the Black Dranzer were integral to establishing Beyblade lore. This was effective as later on in G-Revolution we got teams like Barthez Battalion and BEGA Bladers who were connected with villains of the past.
2. Character development- I felt like characters had development that was not only positive for their characters but also made them interesting and realistic. Kai developing an obsession with battling Tyson after being a Blader that was on top of the world S1 and then facing Brooklyn who was a mirror of his early self in S3 made for a great all around arc. Lee developing an insecurity after Ray returned was a good way to move Lee on from his grudge against Ray but still keep those feelings relevant.
3. Battles- For the most part the battles felt the most high stakes in this season. Metal Fury also had some really high stakes but I felt like OG Beyblade did it better. Sure it took everyone to beat Rago and we lost Ryuga but we got to see the fallout from losses that shook people to the very core in OG Beyblade. Max & Ray losing their bit beasts in V-Force felt real. Same with Kai dealing with the guilt of Wyatt or Tala being battered by Garland. We got to see the consequences play out on screen and some things were never really fixed. Also the amount of creative gimmicks used for stadiums and different types of scenery made it stand out.
Now I watched most of MFB and really like Burst as well but to me the best will always be the OG. If I had to give a full ranking it would be.
1. OG
2. Burst
3. MFB
