Of course it is, these are open to public though to participate you must have an account. Which you already do! I would highly encourage you to participate even if you don't plan on taking the trip to Toronto. If you're worried you wont be good enough dont, you'll learn a lot more by playing plus I've had large competitive tournaments where a new blader has made it to the finals. It'll be a lot of fun.
