Ever had a bad Beyblade that you still like but you don't want to admit it? This is just a thread expressing which bad/unpopular Beyblades that get flak for their performance, aesthetics and parts that you personally like.

It can be from any generation, they just have to be beys that aren't well liked by a number of people. Your reason for liking these unpopular beys dosen't have to be based on performance (it's any personal reason). Your reasons for liking them can also be as absurd as possible but please be respectful if someone has a reason for liking a bey you hate. You may argue that "there's no such thing as a bad beyblade that you actually like" but IMO, there is. Some beys can be useless and still be fun or cool to you so as dumb as this thread sounds, I'm sure some people will have bad beys they still like. That doesn't mean you're a contrarian for liking unpopular beys.

Plastics

• Bump King - Already starting off with a bey from this era that is pretty much universally hated. I actually like Bump King TBH. Yeah, its performance does suck but it's really fun to play with just because of the horrible recoil which can lead to some crazy battles. This may also stem from my nostalgia as I remember seeing Bump King in Beyblade (Episode 18). I also think it looks kinda cool.
  
• Makendo - This also applies to Ultimate Dragoon and Megaro Arm. I like this one for being that simple and basic spinning top, back when it was at its early stage. It's like an empty base waiting to be expanded on.
  
• Trypio - Back then, the idea of a Beyblade that could fly sounded awesome but had poor execution. The idea was so crazy, I just love it and it also gave us mG.
  
• Dranzer F - Okay, I wouldn't call this one unpopular since I know a lot of people love it for Black Dranzer but it's not known for having good performance. I still love this bey just for the aesthetics and gimmick alone. It was the first time we had a triple bottom change gimmick and whilst the FCB and D:D aren't good parts, I like them a lot for their versatility.
  

HMS

• Draciel MS - Honestly, I don't know what makes me like this one so much. It has really horrible parts (except for the WD) and performs like carp uncustomized. Maybe I like it because it's so bad as it gets bounced around really easily.
  

MFB

• Flame Sagittario C145S - I'll admit I have some bias just because it was one of my first beys but what I love about this bey is the way it looks as the MW and the CW work so well with each other and C145 is fun against attack types.
  
• Wind Aquario 100HF/S - It has HF/S... I love HF/S!
  
• Storm Capricorne M145Q - I know, I know, you're all probably thinking, "wait what...?". M145Q has pretty much become a frequent target of mockery and yes, M145Q does perform terribly but I really like it. The idea of the bey is that it bounces and it is a useless gimmick, but at least it does what it's intended to do. I also think the bouncing gimmick is fun to mess with as it can lead to some really unpredictable battles... until your M145 wears down.
  
• Thermal Pisces T125ES - Okay, you got me. I like this bey because of the anime since the concept for what the MW could do was interesting in the show. Obviously it doesn't work but I like the idea behind it.
  
• Killer Gemios DF145FS - I'm a Gemini okay >.<
  
• Kreis Cygnus 145WD - It might be one of the worst 4D beys performance-wise but I absolutely love it. It's one of my absolute personal favourites for its cool gimmick and really beautiful looks. The Cygnus CW is one of my favourite CW and I love the Kreis wheel's design. I personally also don't think its defense is that bad.
  
• Cosmic Pegasus W105R2F (Hasbro) - People don't seem to like this one because it lacked a 4D gimmick (same applies to other Metal Fury beys) and F:D was removed but IMO, the bey uncustomized is such a solid attack type and I really like the Cosmic MW. Its high recoil and huge smash makes battles really crazy and I love it.

Burst

• Trident H.C - It reminds me so much of Kid Dragoon mixed with Flame Sagittario and since I like both beys, it's no surprise I love this bey too. It looks really nice aesthetically with some cool spear details and golden yellow colour. I also like Heavy and Claw.
  
• Yggdrasil R.G - I love the colour scheme and I really like Ring and Gyro (even if they're outclassed).
  
• Storm Spriggan K.U - C'mon, admit it... if you have this bey, you've most likely tried to perform a 'Counter Break' move by pushing S2. S2 also had an awesome design and cool parts.
  
• Kreis Satan 2G.Lp - Probably the least talked about God Bey due to consisting of mostly outclassed parts (save for Glaive) but the roller gimmick is really cool and the bey uncustomized has decent defense IMO. It reminds me so much of Roller Defenser except more evil looking. It really looks awesome with pitch black being one of my favourite colours.
  
• Killer Deathscyther 2V.Hn - No one will agree with me on this one but I like this bey, I actually have a soft spot for this one. TBH, I find it has some potential in attack and a bit of destabilization. The kD layer is especially fun with Jaggy (yes, you heard that right). I also really like the idea of its God Ability (even if it doesn't work). It's also the best looking one out of the Deathscythers IMO. The bey as a whole may not be very good but far from "the worst God Bey".

I can’t name many off the top of my head but makendo and draciel mbd are 2 of my favs cos they’re my first 2 plastics but they ain’t famous or particularly any good. A few anime beys are also cool even though they ain’t that good in real life like trypio.

For the original Bakuten Shoot Beyblades we have:

Trypio - Being a huge Maximum Garuda lover, I couldn't not include this. While I don't love this as much, the idea is really cool even though it performs like carp. It's really fun to use and just see what the big AR can do. It is a very unique beyblade too.
Spike Lizard - As someone who loves roller gimmicks, this one is no exception. I love the way it all looks. Even though it's performance sucks, it's beautiful aesthetically and I like the amount of rollers placed on it.
Makendo - Well, you've explained it already.
Bump King - You've explained that too.
Spark Knight - I'm talking about the Takara one and only Spark Knight. What Spark Knight has over Polta and Saizo in my opinion is the colours, that translucent amber is lovely! I was also always a fan of compact beyblades too.
Draciel F - I know the F series isn't liked that much, but Draciel F stands out for me. I like that the AR actually feels like a defense type AR, it feels more closed off. The BB is pretty cool, I love rolling ball gimmicks. Not sure if this one counts because I'm unsure how popular this one is but I always thought people didn't like this one.
Galeon 2 (with Black EG) - I'm cheating a little bit here but this applies to stock Galeon 2 as well. Even though it sucks there's no longer an S-AR making this a bit blander, I love the crazy design of it so much! It looks like recoil-y fun,
and the anime made me love it more for some odd reason. I think I'd love it way more with a black EG, so it can be show accurate. Both of those combined has made what I considered my most wanted beyblade ever.

For HMS we have:

Draciel MS - You've explained why. Recoil is the best!
Round Shell MS - Now I'm not sure if this one truly is unpopular or not, I do find that it does get overlooked upon. I hardly see videos with this one, not counting collection videos. I think this is one of my favourite HMS beyblades, but I've always had a thing for round compact thick defensive beyblades, and in green no less. While it is kinda weak in opposite spin battles, in same spin battles, this thing can be a beast, destabilizing Wolborg MS so well, hell I've gotten it to do the same to Earth Aquila almost consistently. I really don't care for it's Beywheelz gimmick though, but it's still a fun feature I guess.

Now for the Metal Fight Beyblades:

Dark Bull H145SD - The colour scheme looks really really good, it all just works together, even though they are all similar colours. H145 is useless but it's really fun to use, and on a stationary tip like SD, it's recoil-y fun.
Clay Aries ED145B - Now I love Rock Aries, but I love this just a bit more. I always found Light wheels, as horrible as they perform very interesting, and I love the idea of having something generic bladers used in the anime. I always loved the way Clay looked. This beyblade is more for looks more than anything but I still like it. I really love the anime appearance too.
Storm Capricorn M145Q - You've explained this one too.
Killer Gemios DF145FS - You've explained why, and I just think it's a beautiful beyblade, I just wish TT put a bit more effort into giving it newer parts.
Thermal Lacerta WA130HF - People hate this one because it's a useless and badly performing beyblade, and the colour scheme. I'll agree that it's performance sucks and it's useless but at the same time the ridiculous pairing of HF and Thermal is pretty fun in my opinion, and the way it looks is good enough for me, I kinda like the colour scheme.
Forbidden Eonis ED145FB - I really really love the appearance of this beyblade, it has this nice clean and light pinkish red colour, the translucent purple ED145, the nice pearl red, oh it just ties in well together. This thing performs badly, but I always loved a lot of light recoily beyblades. The anime appearance of it is cool too.

Trident .H.C - Already explained.
Storm Spriggan .K.U - Already explained, and also love the way it looks.
Kreis Satan .2G.Lp - Reasons already explained, plus it's one of my absolute favourite beyblades in Burst.
Jail Jormangand .I.Cy - While I don't love this beyblade as much as I used to, it's still a decent beyblade for me. It doesn't perform that well but I like the whole gimmick with Cycle and J2 in this booster form looks amazing, way better than the RLC counterpart.
Quad Quetzalcoatl .J.P - A lot of people dislike this beyblades for the same reason as they dislike Thermal Lacerta, useless, bad combo and ugly. I personally think the looks are really nice, the layer looks unique and cool, and the colour scheme while weird does appeal to me. The Jerk disk is unique for it's time, even if it's useless and Press looks great in that colour. It's pretty cool in the show too, it's probably one of my favourite Dual Layers.

For the good ol' Plastics, I absolutely loved Draciel Shield. It was my first, although the BB was really the only really good part about it I know of. I also loved Trypio's design despite never owning one, which is why I'm kinda glad they brought the idea back for Maximum Garuda.

Draciel MS similarly follows for HMS, as I got it shortly after Draciel Shield and still liked the design so much despite being so weak. I also really enjoyed Hopper Attacker/Einstein MS for the jumping gimmick in its core, and the fact that I could launch it so much harder as a kid than I could anything else I had.

For the Metal Saga, I really liked Burn Phoenix for ages, even though Burn was outshone by Earth, 135 was generally a useless height, and MS was too unstable to be usable. Beyond that, most of the blades I liked were fairly mainstream and common at some point, like Earth Aquila/Eagle.

Burst-wise, I really love Spriggan, whether its the OG red or the green or white one I have from random boosters. Sure, it recoils and self-bursts far too much to be really competitive, but I like it even better than Storm Spriggan just because it's so much more rugged and is capable of taking out almost anything that isn't as smooth as Maximum Garuda by sheer chance. Back when I first got it I wasn't such a fan of its rugged design, but now I've come to grow rather fond of its berserker-like design. I'm also really fold of Chaos.O.G despite how incredibly easy it is to burst and even if it comes with Oval (a.k.a. one of Burst's worst forge disks). The fact that it spells "cog" is also kind of neat.

G2 is one of the best defensive layers among all Dual Layers, and N2 is also useful at barrage attack.

Roller Defenser, its a decent beyblade! with high velocity and its completely underrated as an attack ring even tho it has similar qualities to driger s

bakushiin - OH! - again a decent beyblade with good defense , the attack ring is especially good in a combination with a 10 wide, cross survivor and keroberos blade base its a nice combination blade with great defense, stamina and attack!

Driger F - Its a beast indeed but with good training you can master it and smash many opponents away
