I'm working on a massive project behind the scenes that even at a low estimate will require around 200 tests. It's gonna take at least a week even if I work non stop on it. You fail to realize how obsessed I am with this hobby. I have a life outside of this place you know. The only reason i'm here every single day of the year is because I have mild OCD. Otherwise I would have left a long time ago. I'm here because realistically there's so much more that I can give to this place. Beyblade has been my favourite hobby for the last 4 years. Because of my OCD I can't help but obsess over it. That also means I can't really be here without giving my full attention to it every second i'm logged on.

I know you didn't ask for anywhere near that amount but I needed to tell you regardless.
Ok, but we'll see. In the Wyvang Killerken LW160 BSF you said you would 30 tests by the end of the day.

It's tomorrow, and no tests. I know you could have forgot, but you've been saying your going to text stuff a lot recently, and I haven't seen one test yet.

I'm just asking that you stop speculating, since it could mislead others, details threads, and is senseless. It also makes you look like an idiot when someone does test your theories.(Aka Th!nk 6H vs 10H)

We should probably take this conversation elsewhere. If you wish to continue, I'm open to PMs.
Read my edit. I've done the tests and it's as good as I said. I haven't had the time to post till now. The only reason i'm here right instead of out with people is because i'm waiting for a package to be delivered.

If you have time now, why not post them and back up ypur claims?
(Jun. 14, 2013  1:31 PM)Ultra Wrote: I'm aware of what you've said but i've purposely left out info because at the time I posted it I was too busy to explain my reasons why. You seem to misunderstand something vital. Just because something is top tier doesn't mean it is designed to be used by every type. What you would call bad weight distribution I can identify more correctly as focused weight. Horogium is top tier for every type. It was meant to balance out the intentional bad balance of Basalt. That's why it's weight is focused more onto the outside. There's a good reason they rereleased in RB7. Because it was top tier. As you've said Orion was purposely designed to work with flash. It's very clear that they work out what to release at least a year in advance. As such I know that there are several top tier combos we have missed out on because no one else except me has ever really been willing to take the time to analyse every part. The only person that even comes close is brad and that's simply because he was the probably the most knowledgeable beyblader ever. For example just because of how W145 is shaped I can speculate (probably correctly btw) T125SF/CS is top tier for stamina types.

No of course I don't mean to say that a top tier part can be used by every type...
I just don't see how we consider Horogium to be in the same category as Aquario and Cancer.

I see how your perspective made it Horogium's usefulness quite believable.
You can say that Horogium was made to negate Basalt's imbalance. It is a compact part with "focused weight" (with that weight being just 2.7 grams, I don't see how it would actually play a big part in balancing the weight) according to you. But what's the point of adding imbalanced weight to a perfectly balanced Stamina wheel (Basalt is out already), when you can add something with greater synergy and weight distribution? All in all, how can you prove Horogium's centralized imbalanced weight actually do something game-breaking in the Defense/Stamina branch, to actually make it a top tier choice?

And no, I never said Orion was "made" to be on Flash. Takara Tomy seemingly never really "plans" to make such stuff, IMO. Even if it does, there is no way you can prove it (or can you?), I believe.
Its usually us who find the competitive aspect in parts TT makes.
I wonder what made you think of it like that.
Nothing was purposely designed to work well with a certain part released in the past/future. If TT actually planned all that, the stats it prints on the box wouldn't be as senseless as they are now.

I also do not understand the "re-released in RBV7" connection here. Do you mean to say that Horogium is top-tier because it was released as a part of the most glorious RBVs ever released?

Of course, there are always some combos which might have been top tier, but were missed. Still, we didn't make totally bad combos back then. We did have some real top-tier stuff up there. So all wasn't lost.

I don't know about you being the most knowledgeable member around here. You might be, but I don't see it as a reason to believe your theory here.

As for T125SF working well, SF was mostly an Attack/Stamina tip. We have MF for it now.
I don't know how you see it becoming top tier...
Because I have ADD as well which means while I can personally put things off my OCD just means I don't do it for things I want to do. Essentially my ADD and OCD means I have enormous trouble focusing on more than one task. I have run out of my medication till I go to pick it up tomorrow. So unless I reevaluate and force myself I won't do something. As such i'll post them now that you've reminded me.

@ Janstarblast:

I didn't want to go into this much detail but I also have Aspergers too which means a near complete lack of empathy (i.e. I do what I want all day every day with no consideration to the opinion of others) so I have no concept of lying/bragging whatsoever.

Have I convinced you all now because making me explain it is essentially torture for me because it goes against every fibre of my being?
I did a quick test of T125 (I got curious) I used it on a Phantom Cygnus T125EWD and also did a small comparison with W145 and AD145. At least in my case T125 didn't work so well. W145 got 6 more wins than T125 against a MF-H Duo Cygnus 230MB, while AD145 got 2 more and 1 tie. I was also gonna try SF but from past experience I can tell that SF doesn't work well, at least for me. I put Horogium on the same stamina set up I had used, and it lost spin way quicker and started wobbling a lot earlier than with Cygnus.
These parts really don't work well, and I can't see any way they could, at least for stamina. Then again that could be only me, so it would be nice if someone else gave those parts a try. (Though I am aware these parts are outclassed)
Q: Which Zero-G chrome wheels have good synergy with Genbul? And also, does F230 have any competitive use?
genbull has good synergy with itself, and i think somewhat with dragooon, and f230 was the major custom used in BR, Wyvang girago f230 gcf, so yes.

Top tier for stamina...

The metagame has changed, folks. We are in a new era.
My fang leone is not fake cuz the box has the takara tomy logo and only some battles the clear wheel will chip of a little but really i am really sure believe me Janstarblast

Combos on 230 that make direct contact with the opposing bey's CW do manage to chip it provided that the underside of the Metal Wheel is rough. My Befall CW has worn down a bit due to that. :\
But yes, the way Phantom Fang describes the condition of his parts, it does seem to be fake or a superbly heavily used bey.

Off topic but it was in this thread and I like to try to be as transparent as possible about everything so:
Ultra - I did manage to get Death Horogium T125CS to OS Duo Cancer AD145WD about three times with an absolutely mint CS - but I could literally see the margin slip away and towards Duo over even 6 battles to the point it ended up 3-3. It was really weird to watch.
The entire reason it works in this instance is that Death's under-wings are at the exact right height to keep hitting underneath Duo at that specific height matchup (noticing this is why I sat down and tried it), the tip manages to stay relatively well balanced so the rubber doesn't interfere much, and their stamina is close enough for that all to matter. Just a little tip wear can change all that, however. And D125 seemed to perform identically to T125 - it's just a height thing not genius part design.

So, neat, but no CS isn't going to find a home in stamina for quite some time (and even then mixed abilities would likely end it up in balance anyway).

As for SF, it didn't work there and it also didn't work with T125SF on my Phantom (the one that outspins my duo to a ridiculous degree). Too much friction (you know stamina types want to minimize energy being wasted as movement/grip right?). T125CS with my phantom was close but still pretty dodgy (and identical to D125).

Using WD, Death T125WD and D125WD do seem to do well against Duo AD145WD - no difference in the margins though.

It failed against SA165 (and as did using AD145 on death to get the same height difference but angles are going to be different there anyway sooo) but removing the disk made it work - similar contact I guess, and the disk protects against it a little.

Overall: It's a height match up. It is highly possible it could be specific to matchups between these two wheels, too but I'd like to see duo v duo and death v death first to check some stuff (mostly the former though). T125's design has nothing to do with it and SF still sucks as much as ever and a single CS might last you one match at a tournament if you're lucky. Historically the 125's were basically outclassed and beaten by the low tracks, so perhaps with the upward shift and overhang wheels 125 is now LTSC lol. Of course this was only against AD145, not W145 - I don't have that, and it was quite close so this could be entirely irrelevant (except maybe against 160?). And Death's ability is due to the wings not some amazing weight distribution which isn't actually visible on the top.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that this was not full testing - I'm really tired and I'm just not interested at all in MFB, but I felt this was enough indication to post about given what I found.

So yes Ultra in the many shots you fired you managed to hit the target at least once (and miss a whole lot more but nonetheless progress is progress I guess?) - do what I say and try stuff before talking about it (and when you do talk about it, be humble) and you might end up doing good (though to be fair that's basically what everyone else who has a vague idea of what they're doing does - think about something and why it might work, try it, and then post if it does). Actions speak louder than words (and poorly chosen words aren't forgotten quickly) Wink
Again you're assuming too much for your own good. I'm perfectly aware to the degree of about 85% of everything you just said. In short not that you seem to understand that when you blocked me that was probably the most horrible insult you could have done to me. My brain may work like a computer but that doesn't mean i'm invulnerable to insults.
In the combo Duo Cygnus 230D/SD what will be better D or SD and what difference will it make?
Usually, we use WD tips for Stamina combinations.
On 230 however, using WD results in extreme imbalance which makes it start wobbling a bit too soon.
Therefore, a smaller (as in, less wide) tip is used to address the issue.

In theory, D would be a better choice on that combo. It is the least wide of the D series tips, addresses the imbalance issues, and also has great Stamina.

4,327,659 SDs were offended by this XD
Well yeah but only because just from looking I can tell that SD is better than D just because of it's more refined shape meaning is has better precession power.. Also we need to test S tips because they're perfect for zero G stamina as Takara pointed out when released. I am going to test this soon though. If anyone could beat me to it that would be great.
Perfect?!

This is the most rediculous thing I've ever heard.

Takara isn't the Beygod.
Yes it is XD

Have you guys tried 230PD?
... S was for Defense in Zero-G.

THAT was what TAKARA-TOMY pointed out when Zero-G was first released.
Okay yes perfect isn't the right word. Perfect when it was released is what I meant whether I said it or not. SD is better than WD simply because it has much better LAD (if you don't know what that is look it up, it stands for life after death). As such yes it looks like they are the same but that's a misconception. They've designed their parts perfectly all along since they plan at least a year in advance. Death is obviously top tier because the mode where the protrusions stick upwards. This obviously means that it has perfect weight distribution and a mode where it kills anything higher than it. It has upper attack without the attack element unless you put it on RF. That's why killerken Dragooon DF105RF works by the way.
Is it possible to find the Sol blaze movie in english?

Sorry I was wrong but in BB-10 it's the same thing really. Defence in zero g is just anything with a point because it creates friction regardless of whether it's rubber or not. So something like RDF is the perfect balance part since it's a small rubber circular tip but it has perfect LAD because of the ring. It's basically metal change for MFB. It's the best thing balance types will ever get unless there is actually a second season of zero g and even if there is they'd have to try incredibly hard to make something that will outclass RDF. The only thing I can even think of that would even be able to outclass it is something like W2D or DS but with a sharp rubber tip because RDF is already that anyone but without the sharp tip. Oh also DS is almost certainly top tier too just from the way it looks.
